ugh, I'm worried about mine tomorrow. Sucks because I used the Black Friday 20% off coupon on it so the item was actually already marked down.
Hopefully yours is in good shapeI was able to call and get a partial refund. If your experience is like mine they will lead with a $5 rebate but mention that stores have been taking more off of ones that have the same problem and go for $10. Good luck!

Get in and pay for it, get them my phone number and email; they said they will contact me when it is available to pick up. A hour later recrived another email from Target staying item unavailable and search in another store. But they still have my money.

It doesnt go IN the hole. It goes around it. At the, obviously, weakest part of the stem. The broken part also has a hole. Not sure crazy glue on its own would be enough, but maybe you could find a rod that fits the hole and connect it that way. Curious how people are going about doing it, because THAT particular hulk i took a pic of, has no "easy" fix. Hammer head is too heavy for just crazy glue. Heck it was too heavy for the solid mold. It's why it broke.
I fixed two already, one I just found and a buddies. The hand has a nub and the hammer is a separate piece. The hammer is solid and fits over this little green nub, which is too weak. You will see this little nub in your loose hammer.
Use a 3/16 wood dowel. Drill about an inch into the hammer handle 3/16 drill. The dowel will be tight in the hammer. The hand is hollow, if you leave to dowel long enough and measure good, it will sit in the inside divot on the bottom of the hand (the hammers handle end). Once you measure, and cut the dowel, you can fill the hand with glue (I used industrial epoxy). Then insert the dowel in the hole, turn the hammer till the damage aligns and let cure. Really came out WAY better than even an un broken one!! Still a spectacular Pop!!!

Sort of yes and sort of no. I did the same thing. Reserved online, got the email to pick it up. I get there and they cant find it. So what happens is the back pulls the order, says its ready. They THEN send it up front. The front notices the broken hammer and goes to damage return to vendor. I told then NO dont scrap it, I want to buy it! I did get it, but once it is damaged out a manager has to get involved, the employees are not allowed to alter that. So in getting it, my card was charged. In your case, you werent completed yet, so they "have" your money, but you didnt finish the transaction at the counter, so it should drop off. I dont know what Targets soft charge drop off time is. 5-7 days I think is standard. The worst I ever saw was Box Lunch, 30 freaking days for a charge to drop off!!

Thanks to dishsnthings for the excellent advice, I did this and it worked great. Also, when I took it out of the box I found a small green piece of plastic that had broken off but it didn't break off of mine, who knows what went on with these things.

Target's soft charge dropped off in 2 days for me, for the incompletion of Hulk order.
