Found one broken and the box with the cut when they open the case. Talk to manager, because want to buy it to fix it. Only gave me a $3.00 discount because he said they will loose money if he gave me a bigger discount. I don't think Target only get a $3.00 profit in that figure.

ugh, I'm worried about mine tomorrow. Sucks because I used the Black Friday 20% off coupon on it so the item was actually already marked down.

Hopefully yours is in good shape :) I was able to call and get a partial refund. If your experience is like mine they will lead with a $5 rebate but mention that stores have been taking more off of ones that have the same problem and go for $10. Good luck!

Mine came perfect haha I got lucky!

I know this is off topic, but did anyone find target exclusive Hela in store? There are a fair amount up on ebay, but brick seek shows nothing. Did I just miss them completely?

Saw lots of them at a few different Targets in WA last week. One store had about 9.

Finally saw one of these at Target today. It's ginormous lol. I was tempted to get it but luckily my almost impulse buy didn't happen because the hammer was broken.

One Target by me got a ton in. Others only got 2 in. Weird. I'm in Wisconsin.

When it came out I had called a couple Targets to see if their stock count was correct, and they said that they were sending them back. Maybe they'll get a restock?

I found one in the store and then ordered another online when they went on sale and when it arrived, the hammer was snapped off by the hand of the Hulk. It seems to be a very common defect with this figure.

Didn't understand how Target website work. Check yesterday in stores around my area and had one staying getting two today and can reserved it. Get in and pay for it, get them my phone number and email; they said they will contact me when it is available to pick up. A hour later recrived another email from Target staying item unavailable and search in another store. But they still have my money. :(

Sort of yes and sort of no. I did the same thing. Reserved online, got the email to pick it up. I get there and they cant find it. So what happens is the back pulls the order, says its ready. They THEN send it up front. The front notices the broken hammer and goes to damage return to vendor. I told then NO dont scrap it, I want to buy it! I did get it, but once it is damaged out a manager has to get involved, the employees are not allowed to alter that. So in getting it, my card was charged. In your case, you werent completed yet, so they "have" your money, but you didnt finish the transaction at the counter, so it should drop off. I dont know what Targets soft charge drop off time is. 5-7 days I think is standard. The worst I ever saw was Box Lunch, 30 freaking days for a charge to drop off!!

It doesnt go IN the hole. It goes around it. At the, obviously, weakest part of the stem. The broken part also has a hole. Not sure crazy glue on its own would be enough, but maybe you could find a rod that fits the hole and connect it that way. Curious how people are going about doing it, because THAT particular hulk i took a pic of, has no "easy" fix. Hammer head is too heavy for just crazy glue. Heck it was too heavy for the solid mold. It's why it broke.

I fixed two already, one I just found and a buddies. The hand has a nub and the hammer is a separate piece. The hammer is solid and fits over this little green nub, which is too weak. You will see this little nub in your loose hammer.
Use a 3/16 wood dowel. Drill about an inch into the hammer handle 3/16 drill. The dowel will be tight in the hammer. The hand is hollow, if you leave to dowel long enough and measure good, it will sit in the inside divot on the bottom of the hand (the hammers handle end). Once you measure, and cut the dowel, you can fill the hand with glue (I used industrial epoxy). Then insert the dowel in the hole, turn the hammer till the damage aligns and let cure. Really came out WAY better than even an un broken one!! Still a spectacular Pop!!!

Thanks to dishsnthings for the excellent advice, I did this and it worked great. Also, when I took it out of the box I found a small green piece of plastic that had broken off but it didn't break off of mine, who knows what went on with these things.

Thanks so much, glad it helped! FWIW I got a line on an un-broken one yesterday on Facebook. Fair price, $40 but I did pass. I'm so happy with mine repaired. My thought was that ok it's un-broken. But it is a weak spot, so it's not IF it will, but WHEN it will break. Enjoy your now super strong Hulk!

It's a Christmas miracle! My "backordered" Hulk showed up on Friday with his hammer intact! Since it's for my brother and he is going out of the country with his family for Christmas we are doing presents this weekend so I'm super glad he arrived.

Checked target today, they told me they actually sent the broken ones back, but have no idea if they'll get more. I don't know if that's the truth or just what the employees were told to say, but it might be worth keeping your eyes open for a few more weeks if your target did the same.

I went to another local store today because I'm still looking for one for a friend. I got lied to again. They told me they could not find them and then just more excuses of not knowing where the item was. 1 hour after I left they sold out of all of them.
