Old series, Missed opportunities

It's not that old but I feel like some of the Disney lines (Pinocchio, Fantasia, Zootopia, Robin Hood, Lion King) could've gotten a lot more characters.

Hunger Games - Haymitch, Cinna, Finnick, Johanna and Gale.

I need at least Gale to get made. I know they didn't sell well or something but that's 1/3 of the main cast.

I'd also love to see Jessica. Honestly I'm secretly hopeful they'd get remade with new poses lol

but I know it's probably not going to happen anytime soon if ever. I'd be happy for them to just do a small wave of new characters to add to the others.

the marvel ones i think depend on whats out and recent. if theyre not in the comics or movie, i wouldnt expect them to have a pop.

i personally wanted more rick remender's Uncanny X-Force. fantomex,archangel, psylocke. even the X-force before that, with domino, warpath. now that the series is long gone, i dont expect them to ever be made.

I honestly think that the Back to the Future line could've been expanded upon a lot. We could've gotten a 2015 version of Doc, a 1955 version of Marty with the guitar, 1885 versions of them both...while we're at it, we could've gotten a Lorraine, George, and Biff, too. And I think if they released the line today, we would've.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all complaining about what we got, but as a huge BttF fan, it's always a bummer seeing movies like Valerian and Ghost in the Shell get these huge waves while BttF only got 4 Pops total.

Also, I know Ghostface is an enormous horror icon, but I would've loved to have gotten a Sydney and a bloody Casey as well. In fact, every slasher we've gotten should've come with at least one memorable victim and one survivor, in my opinion.

I remember seeing a while ago about the Michael Jackson pops. There was supposed to be a Werewolf Thriller MJ pop but it was scrapped. It looked awesome and would've loved to add that into my collection.

Missed opportunities:
- The Simpsons (So many great characters that could have been PLUS! variants)
- Power Rangers (metallic variants were all over the place and completely put me off the entire line)
- Family Guy (What I personally wanted was Quagmire, Cleveland, Joe, We can rebuild him Peter 6 million dollar man variant etc)
- Original Star Trek (missed the boat entirely with not doing Bones, Sulu, Uhura, Chekov, Gorn)
- Masters Of The Universe (I'm not going to be too harsh yet as it's early days but the new set wouldn't feel complete without Teela and Prince Adam...perhaps future specialty series individual releases?)

Definitely surprised there wasn’t a metallic variant of the original White Ranger..and at Funday’s this year I was shocked there wasn’t a Green Ranger Freddy #-o

Indeed. Also no black metallic, wrong coin on gold / yellow metallic ranger and imo I thought the teleport range were pretty terrible. Felt like a quick cash grab tbh...if only they could've done them like the old Star Trek transporter figures from playmates. Half translucent / half colored.

The cool things about Funko is that they will revisit a line. It was YEARS before the second wave of Masters of the Universe and Batman 66. So there is always hope.

But for me, I wish there was a Marilyn from the Munsters series.

RSVHockeyDude - My mum has Steamboat Willie loose. I gave it to her because she grew up watching the original Mickey Mouse Club Show. It's an awesome Pop!...somewhat shocked by it's increase in value.

I had Jiminy Cricket boxed and then loose...sold it - doh! Definitely regret it now :/

I have a long list, bear with me:

The Simpsons: So many characters, side characters, chase figure and alternate opportunities. Such a shame they made some really early versions and left it at that. The Simpsons original Pops don't even look like Pops.

Star Trek Original Series: No Dr. McCoy, Uhura, Sulu, Chekov, Khan, etc etc Could have been a great series, but it's pretty clear that Funko doesn't care about Star Trek, since they half-assed another Star Trek line I will mention below....

Star Trek the Next Generation: Again, so many characters missed. Dr. Crusher, Wesley, Guinan, Q, Tasha Yar, Ro Laren, etc

Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Sir Robin. Sir Lancelot, Sir Gallahad, Knights who say Ni, the Monster, the Old Man, etc

Indiana Jones: Come on...this is one of the most popular franchises in history...yet the only Pops are of Indy and you will pay good money to get him. A full series should be released with characters from all the movies.

At least there is an Archangel Pop. For a long time, it didn't look like we'd ever get new X-Men Pops.

I feel like every time a new line gets announced there is 1 character I'm disappointed they didn't make, but Funko has been good about giving even semi-popular lines additional waves to add in characters they missed or some less popular ones. Unfortunately alot of older lines weren't so lucky so here is to hoping they do something similar to the new Thundercats Tygra and go back to release characters to round out old sets. Or maybe even entire new lines like He-Man or Aladdin.

Here would be some of the most glaring omissions for me:

Family Guy: Lois, Meg, and Chris. Would love to see others like Quagmire, Joe, and Cleveland but at least finish the core family!

Cowboy Bebop: Really? No Ein?

Book of Life: Joaquin

Fallout: Anything and everything New Vegas, but Bethesda likes to pretend that game doesn't exist because it is infinitely better than both 3 and 4 combined. They didn't make it themselves so it gets treated like the Jon Snow of Fallout games. Also any companions from FO4 like Deacon, MacCready, Cait, and Preston.

Power Rangers: Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa

Pirates of the Caribbean: Will Turner (pre-Captain of the Dutchman)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit: Eddie Valiant
