Man - this is ridiculous. Funko's research department just kills it.

Love 'em! I agree they are really too much the same...even if they are dressed that way in the movie. Wish it was a biker scout instead, and even had luke as a con exclusive. That being said I will try for both lol

I'm glad they made these, and I really like them, but it is extremely lame that one is a chase, especially Luke. If anything, it should of been Leia that was the chase. I'd like to have the Luke, but don't want the Leia. The Hasbro Luke on speeder was one of my favorite toys growing up in the 90s, and RotJ was my favorite movie during that time.

My wife is happy Leia is the normal one, as she doesn't really want the Luke version. To each their own, I guess.

I believe the original NBC zero was and I know Hobbit Smaug was 1:3

The belts are also different, and the flare of the cloak behind is different. Considering how similar they had to be to begin with, I think they did a good job differentiating them.

Definitely passing on this one. As much of a Star Wars fan as i am, this one just doesn't intrigue me. Plus, I definitely have no more room for Pop Rides.

At least the chase isn't too rare, but kind of rough to have a chase be an entirely different character, especially a main character.

Maybe cause box is bigger...3 per box instead of 6. The ghost riders were 3 in a box....guessing these will be too

I'll be getting both versions. I'm just waiting to walk into a GameStop to see 10 Leias on the shelf and no Lukes simply because of the chase sticker. I hope demand for this chase isn't very high and flippers get stuck with inventory, but even the worst chases never seem to stay on the shelves. Not that I would get one, but I never even saw a chase Doghan Daguis in the wild, so someone was buying them.

I can see a lot of people not caring whether or not they got the chase since these two are so similar. I'd almost prefer the Princess Leia one.

Well, If you order 6, 2 will be Luke and 4 will be Leia, rather than ordering 6 and getting 5 Leias and 1 Luke. That being said, because it is a larger item, many stores may not order very many. So, while a store may order 4-6 of a regular POP, they may only order 2 or 3 of these two.

Agreed. I wasn't even going to hunt for the chase, but got a great deal online for a bundle with both.

Yes! After all, they were chasing the scout trooper in the movie. But then we'd need a super chase with an Ewok hanging off the handle bars.

For everyone that's complaining about how lazy the variant is, keep in mind that in the movie Luke and Leia look a lot alike other than their faces, but because Pop faces are stylized there's not a lot they can do in the face to make them different.

There are actually quite a few differences in the two Pops, they're just subtle ones:

- Luke has sleeves, Leia doesn't.
- Leia has a wrist communicator on.
- Luke has a glove on over his robotic hand.
- Different colored clothing.
- Eyelashes on Leia.
- Belts are different.
- Cape "flow" is different.

At first glance it might appear to be a "lazy" variant, but actually there are a lot of small differences in the molds and painting and they are pretty accurate to the screen images.

Agreed. I think they did a great job on the two.
Should we bring up the open mouth/ closed mouth weaponized rick while we're at it? or Porg?

For all the box collectors, the box is actually different too, which for a lot of chases isn't the case. :razz:

I preordered at ferrara and I believe it said january. I think they generally get stuff a little later though.

So maybe this month then.....I preorderd the LOTR bundle from them...it was in stores in May I think and got my bundle in Sept
