Re: Star Wars Dorbz
So strange that we still don’t know any details except that they/it will be available this upcoming Friday. Even with the elite die cast releases, Disney Store let us know in advance what figure would be available on each release date.

I just saw that the elite figures are being released one at a time. Some are even separated by just one day.

I mean, it's great for Disney because they can corner the market, but at this point I feel like they could strong-arm Hasbro and get their way to get this to a wider audience.
Disney IS Star Wars. So it's kind of a unique situation. Cars has exclusive sized cars. Maybe Disney will have some exclusives and other else where? Either way I think they will keep their business partner Hasbro on good terms.
Star
Wars
Dorbz
True, but Disney has shown they're willing to go up against Hasbro with their Elite series.
True. Hasbro better not mess with the bull they will get the horns (Breakfast Club). Hasbro might not want to bite the hand that feeds them.

Disney definitely has big enough hands for them to bite with Star Wars and Disney on their side.

Which one do you think will be first? I’m hoping it’s the stormtrooper. That’s the only one I want.

A local collector had the flocked chewbacca in her hand and her husband and my husband were at box lunch getting Zero. My husband warned them about a local flipper who rips pops out of women's and children's hands and sure enough he did that to her. Other than that the whole line looks great.

just for fun. most likely first dorbz chances from my opinion
1) vader
2) stormtrooper
3) chewbacca
4) luke
5) solo
6) leia
7) c3po
8) jawa
i know it probably won't happen. but i would release leia first as a small tribute to fisher.

I'm guessing it's gonna be the same way they did the elite series figures.

I'm also betting the Dorbz release schedule will be similar to the Elite release schedule in that we could be looking at all those Dorbz being out by the end of the year; just staggered maybe weekly.

I never played the game but have seen the reference enough to know what it is
Some of my favorite cheesy lines are from the first Resident Evil, I loved the game despite the strange dialog, which really just added the B movie horror flick vibe, and that is a good thing in my book!PopGoestheJess wrote:You think they might do walkers? I wouldn't mind having an AT-AT.
I sincerely hope so! A Pop Deluxe version would be too big but I think they could make it work as a Dorbz Ridez.

If they are marked up, it'll be easier to meet the minimum amount to qualify for free shipping.

If i remember correctly, when Disney Pops first came out (and were Disney Store exclusives) they were more expensive than regular Pops. I want to say they were $12.50, but I could be wrong. My fear has been that Dorbz would be more expensive as well.

Agree agree. Disney is a part of 65% of the nerd world. Hasbro should just say thank you to Disney for whatever they receive.
As long as Hasbro doesn't affect funko star wars products too much aside from making the heads bobble it's all good with me.
