I just saw in FB that one of the store owners who has a kiosk here in one of the malls bought all the boxes from that target.

It's just frustrating right now how this was released. I hope they'd just release this online

Street Dates with Funko is really bad and always has been. Only time its good is for shared convention exclusives. Targets store inventory says these are expected 11/4 but they hit stores over the last few days. By me people were in line by 5 am at the Targets. I rolled up around 7 and didnt even bother since I wouldnt have gotten one. Its bad. I just hope the hype dies down and these become affordable on the secondary market.

I'm sorry I went to Target last night and talked to a guy there that collects, and he says they have a hard time with the limit of 1 per person with the self checkout kiosks if they put them on the shelf. He says they usually try to keep them in electronics, but it depends on when they come in and who's in the store and knows about Funko.

Funko should of have made it more than 3 per store, that way it give more people a chance to purchase the pop. Similar like how they did with some of the current pops for Disney Parks.

Yeah, the shining twins were in the Electronics that time when the Kiosk owner bought em.

I'm really hoping for a restock as well. In the new display, they have a spot for them, so that gives me some hope! Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to have a whole spot in the new setup if they were just going to sell out right away.

Today it said they had 3 in Walnut Creek. Went there. Associate said he just helped a lady look for them. I left...then an hour later I check StockByMe and it said Walnut Creek was "Out of Stock".

Popcultcha has them up for pre-order on their website (I know they are RS) and sold out the first wave. They now have a second wave up for pre-order arriving in December so it seems restocks are a certainty.

My local Target told no less than 6 people different stories today.

-My wife heard that they weren't in stock (they were, per Brickseek)
-One person was told that "they're here, they should be out on the shelves"
-One person was told that they're here, but we're not bringing them out today and can't sell them to you
-One person was told they'd be stocked at a later date
-One person said the only Shining pops they had were the commons

....so naturally about 30 minutes ago my local store sold all three of them.

Seems like employees holding them back for themselves to me. So sick of Target having exclusives.

Our boxes were a little smoothed too. I dont mind!

My Target actually handled it very well. By opening, there were 6 people in line (I told them there were only 3 and tried to be as helpful as I could sending them to different stores but for some reason the others thought we would just give it to them after being an 1+ early?) The store open and the guys asks if we are there for the pops. We all get excited and say yes, and he says good. Stay in line just like you are now and follow each other to the electronics counter. We get there and the counter had the Grady Twins, plus all of the Stranger things. The tell us one of each style, one at a time. First guy gets the twins, Hopper and Eleven chases. Then everyone in line behind us started complaining how painful it was to watch. I was like dude, I told you he had dibs fairly, then 2 of them walked out. I was up next. Got my twins, chase demogorgon, and the eleven target dorbz.

So shout out to my local target. First time I have seen them prepared before. Sucks I had to lose sleep and be there way early but worth it!

That's awesome! My Target didn't do anything to help organize, and it made me a little nervous since there were a couple guys that were at the other entrance that arrived after us, but once we all got back there we maintained order and were polite to each other.

What do you guys think the final resting value for this will be? I see it is currently at $430, but stores are still getting shipment. I see a BIN on eBay for $395.

It is a 1/36 chase, and a store exclusive... if a normal chase eventually rests around $30 and this is 6x harder to find, that would make it $180. And then add in the store exclusive factor - maybe another $50+? so $230? and then the fact that (potentially) targets are only getting 1 shipment of 3 or 6 compared to Hot Topic who gets a fair amount of their exclusive store chases... Maybe this won't go under $250? What do you guys think?

Depends on how many waves there are. The White Lady bloody chase was super rare and going for 150 for the longest time, then a second wave of them hit and the price went down to well under half that.

Just bought it off ebay for $40 bucks. I've learned my lesson for the final time with Target exclusives. I went to 4 different stores this weekend that showed in stock before resorting to the flippers tonight. Honestly it was worth to shell out the extra $20 bucks because I know I wasted even more of that in gas and my life aimlessly searching for pops that were obviously kept and bought by the employees. How exactly do you not have them when I was the first person in your store at 8am? Those guys can kick rocks seriously.
