Re: Free Holographic Freddy Pop for people who voted Funko at the TOTY Awards
ok i need some help i don't know where else to go. i got an email notification from ups that i was getting something from funko...my only thought was the TOTY freddy, well a week has gone by and ups transferred the package to usps, and it was supposed to be delivered on 9/27/17 and it hasn't shown up yet, i find out that usps has a new tracking number but upon reviewing that number and calling usps, apparently that haven't received it, and ups claims they don't have it. and I'm in a stand still...IDK what to do now? any suggestions? i have filed a missing mail form at the usps, just a little bum right now.

I had something like that happen to once. Turned out that I had to go into my local post office to figure things out. It was a mess though. Honestly, sometimes they lose things, and it has literally taken a month or more for them to find an expensive item for me that was registered and tracked. Seems to me there's not nearly as much attention to detail or reliable service as there once was. Well, I would give it a few more days, then re-approach the post-office mid-next week or so. At this point, that's about all you can do. I wouldn't proceed with other considerations until at least after that.

I was just feeling a little better and you had to go ahead and post a great pic of Holo Freddy with some of his fantastic GITD buddies. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound. "Got mine yesterday. Thanks Funko". Sadistic. Cruel. Sick. (That really is a great pic, by the way). Not to get too far off point--theraven00, you're just shameless!theraven00 wrote:Nevermore.![]()
By the way for theraven, that was a pretty cool response now that I think about it. "Nevermore". Actually, it's a little spooky when you stop to consider it. Quoth theraven..."Nevermore". I like it, even though the words are a little unnerving. After all, who isn't just a little bit spooked by the poem The Raven, and those words "Nevermore"?
I might have mentioned this before, but I got Stan Lee to sign my Edgar Allen Poe Poem book, since The Raven was a favorite poem of his. When he was younger he could recite the entire thing from memory. During the signing at one of the Cons, he started reciting the poem and the crew just rolled their eyes like "Oh no! Not The Raven again!" It was pretty funny. It was such a memorable experience for me--that mini-personal recital. He didn't make it all the way through, of course. But your single-worded response reminded me both of the spookiness of the poem and those words, and of that pleasant experience. Just to show, below is a pic of the book and Stan's signature. Gosh, if only I could get him someday to write the words "Nevermore" in his penmanship, that would be beyond unbelievable (and practically impossible to get). Still, it's fantastic to think about.

Anyway, didn't quite think about your response till later, theraven00. All things considered, I guess that response was pretty appropriate

I'm glad you got the reference.
I wasn't aware that Stan Lee was such a big fan of The Raven. That's really cool that you got to experience that, and thank you for sharing the images. I've always thought The Raven is a perfect example on how we can notice something, be amused by it, and then, eventually, become completely obsessed with irrational thoughts. It's definitely a favorite of mine, although I can't recite many lines from it. Here's hoping you get a late shipment of Thank You Freddy, or for extra saltiness, at the very least the sticker from the box with the word "Thank" changed to the letter F...

LOL--one never knows...the future is open-ended after all. We'll just have to wait and see how things turn out...to see if there's a salty or sweet ending to this for Tres and me (and a few others, I'm sure). Regardless, this thread and the exchange with many of you has been fun

(by the way there are a couple of YouTube clips of Stan reciting/reading The Raven, if you haven't at least seen his introduction on that). Later

My Freddy has been sitting at the post office since 9/27. I called to see what i could find out but since i dont have a usps tracking just a ups tracking they wont help. It had a scheduled delivery date of 9/28 and it never showed up. My Ups tracking that Funko sent me says it had arrived at local post office and the tracking updated to say "information unavailable "

Try looking at the tracking number on a pc. That's how I found my USPS tracking number. It didn't show on mobile.

Mine also seems to be stuck at the post office, but the post office tracking number says it's still waiting to be received. Sadness.

Thank you Dogmatic! I was able to use a computer and find my tracking # through USPS. It showed that it departed the UPS facility on 9/27 but never arrived at the post office. It had a delivery date of 9/28. The lady i spoke to at my post office told me it could be oje of several scenarios 1. That it was sent to the wrong post office by mistake 2. It didnt make it on the truck 3. Its was missing/lost. She told me give it 48 to 72 more hoirs and if it doesnt show up to file a claim through UPS. She also told me to contact the sender and let them know it didnt make it to me and see if a replacement duplicate could be sent out. Unfortunately i dont think thats a possibility.

Glad I could help. I was having the same trouble finding that number last week, and stumbled on it by accident.

Oh Noes! I actually received the quantum UPS email and was so stoked to see what it was! Then it wasn't delivered...then I checked tracking and it said "The company or receiver name is incorrect. This will delay delivery. We're attempting to update this information. / The package will be returned to the sender."
I quickly called UPS and they confirmed that it was being sent back to Funko
I emailed Funko to see if they could help at all. I hope the same doesn't happen to you guys.

I have had this happen with a package not sent by funko. Somehow it went from my San Diego Post office distribution to LA and then back to San Diego. I didn't see updates for days. USPS is terrible. Unless you have confirmed with USPS its going back, keep up the hope that it will make it.

oh how I hate UPS Surepost. You'll get it, it just adds about 3 to 4 days on to a shipment. Amazon used to do that to me, until I demanded they stop, and just ship it directly to my house.

Think I'm gonna bite the bullet at $50-$55 shipped on thursday after NYCC. Already pre bought all of my exclusive books and prints from there, just need to worry about pops so I will send out a few lowball offers on ebay and see who bites.

My friend is in the exact same boat... she went to post office today and was told because Funko sent it the cheapest way possible (their words) it was sitting on a palette in the back... that would be sorted “when they got to it”...

That would explain why I feel like this shipping service where package is transferred from UPS to postal service is such a terrible quality service.

So I finally received mine TOTY Freddy from USPS yesterday, only a week late. Turns out Funko did not put a street address down, just my name and city/state. I recommend finding the tracking information from both UPS and USPS and then signing up for tracking status changes. It will help to also go to the Post Office and let them know what happened so they find it versus sending back to Funko. Good luck
I wasn't the only one who was missing address information so that is most likely what is happening to everyone else.
Side note, it is AWESOME!

Well, guess I'm out on receiving mine. I've just been keeping track on it through USPS, and when I checked it today it said the tracking number was invalid. Thenn I check the original UPS tracking, and there's this info "The floor number is either missing or incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address. / The package will be returned to the sender." The new tracking says it will be back in Funko's hands tomorrow. Oh, well. It was nice while it lasted, haha.

Contact funko, they will probably resend it to u. The same happened with 1 of my funko shop orders. They resent it after they received it.

Someone in one of the other groups I'm in, contacted them, they said they wouldn't re-ship, and they had none left in stock to send another one. He shared the email that he received from Funko stating this. I think your friend got lucky, they may have had one to send him, but now Funko is telling people they will not re-ship.

Oh no! I have been waiting since the 27th for my Freddy to transfer from UPS and now the USPS tracking doesn't work any longer for some ridiculous reason. I guess I'm lumped in with those having theirs sent back to Funko then. Now Funko saying they won't re-ship if they get my package back??? I'm so hurt right now. What a serious kick to the gut! That's my REAL Thank You from Funko.

Re: Free Holographic Freddy Pop for people who voted Funko at the TOTY Awards
For all the people getting their Freddys not getting shipped back you guys should get like 50 or 75 percent off an item off the funko shop.

I don't understand that. They made the mistake, so they should fix it for their fans.

My tracking info hasn't updated in days as well. I've pretty much given up hope. It was supposed to arrive the 30th of September, but even if I don't ever receive the pop, I am still grateful that Funko even decided to do this in the first place.

That really stinks that so many of you are having issues with the post office. Hopefully everyone can settle it with their delivery people though. I'm sure it was a big enough of a headache for Funko to send all of these out in the first place and it'd suck if they had to deal with mistakes being made on the post office's end.

It's been posted that Funko screwed up the addresses, as in not putting one, just a name and a city. That is why all of the pops are getting stuck at the post office and going back to Funko.

Yep... Im in the same boat. My usps tracking now says that my number is untrackable. But my ups tracking still shows that it was transferred to the local post office. Still no package. Making a call to both services tomorrow morning. Im really hoping my Freddy hasnt been sent back to Funko.
