NYCC Exclusives 2017

Not gonna lie, the marvel wave made me sad. But so far, there are 12 items i need lol

Funko is gonna cost us our vacation... oh wait.. Funko/fundays/sdcc is our next vacation! Two years in a row (hopefully)

It's a really good thing that I only want one NYCC exclusive because I just saw the new wave of DC Bombshells and the golden Shenron. All my money will be going towards those in the coming months. :mir1:

Overall, some awesome exclusives for this con. I was hoping for another Iron Man exclusive but I'm pretty happy that the 8-Bit Batman is making its debut. I can't wait for NYCC!

After SDCC blistered my wallet.. I'm actually just looking at that black chrome Batman.

Wouldn't have minded getting those 8 Bit Foot Soldiers but there's no way I'm going to be able to do that with the quantities made.

Obviously this is the first thing I thought when I saw the dorbz. A Cap'n Crunch pop would be insane as well. Would easily enter my top 5 favorite pops. period.

I might pick up the Grandmaster because he's Ziggy Stardust Jeff Goldblum, not because I need him for my Marvel collection.

I don't think either one was all that good, I only had one Pop I really wanted out of both.

Same! I had to narrow down my list from 25 to 12 [-o<

Lately, I feel like marvel has been lacking... How hard is it to get fundays tickets? Can't wait till NYCC and then SDCC / Fundays!

There are quite a few I hope to get that I want, and a good amount that are maybes. Sadly there are a few I know I won't get because they are limited, but a guy can dream.

I'll be happy if I can at least get the 1st Doctor, Old Man Logan pop and dorbz, Superman #1, Black Chrome Batman and Destro.
Anything after that I'll be glad that I was able to get, but if I can get that first group, I would be content if nothing else worked out.
I'm mostly nervous about where they will be released.

tickets sold out instantly it seemed. At fundays they said something about 3 minutes they were sold out or something.

12 all said and done for me, I was actually dissapointed with the marvel wave where I was expecting to get everything, but only 1 - hulk is one my list.
Still some of those 12 are numbered so probably won't see them without paying $$$

what does everyone think will be a good price for the orange bird, abominal, and mr toad dorbz. Those are my 3 top wants. Hoping I dont have to pay as much as I did for jolly roger sdcc...it was a lot. Really wish at least one was 1500 pcs.

Do you find it better to purchase them immediately or wait a couple days into the con?

Well they are disney and 1000pcs so realistically, if you find it for 100 that would be ideal

Based on the past few years, the highest resale prices are during and right after the con, then the prices slowly go down for a few weeks. The sweet spot for buying at the best prices seems to be 3-4 weeks after the con.

As for how much those will go for, there's honestly no telling. I'm inclined to think OB and AS will be pretty high just because those two are so popular. I think Toady will not be as hot an item, Dorbz Ridez typically don't get the flipper attention that Pops do.

This year Funko extended an early invitation to Funatics in good standing, so it ended up being quite easy. Same with HQ tickets. It pays to be an active Funatic!
