The glitter is surface-applied, not cast in like the translucent princesses. But it is very fine glitter, so the surface doesn't feel rough.

Cool! I appreciate the feedback.

The Dumbo looks cool. I bought belle for the wifey of course (she/we have every beauty and the beast pop) and I might get that Ursula but haven't decided yet.

Not into these glitter pops, I personally think customs look better, maybe if a new character or mold were to be "glitterred" I'd maaaaaybe get one... maybe?

Seen both Diamond Dumbo and Ursula. Gotta say Dumbo wins hands down! Maybe it is the colour scheme but Ursula's purple and yellow/gold looks way too heavy and Dumbo with the silver and pink looks darn cute!

Yeah, not feelin' this line yet, even with dumbo. Dumbo is by far the best one though. I agree with someone else here about them looking very "arts and crafts." Just not for me at this point.

With it being applied this way, has anyone noticed the glitter rubbing off at all? One of my biggest OCD issues is glitter...if I even have a single speck on me I want it off immediately! lol

I was hoping when they said Diamond Series they meant that they would be using diamond dust to make these lol

I think I posted this earlier in the thread, but I did specifically try to rub glitter off and yes, a few flecks did come off. It is so fine that it's hard to see on your fingers, but it is there if you look for it. I will say that I was trying to rub it off though, I think if you were just handling it normally you probably wouldn't get any on your hands.

Hopefully finding a good looking Dumbo won't be too hard. I had to look through almost an entire case to find a decent Ursula.

That is dedication. I saw it in person and felt it was completely overkill. Dumbo might be good.

I had the same problem. The Ursula is honestly a bit of a hot mess. The area around the eyelashes is kinda weird looking and I saw a lot of problems around the mouth as well. Either the red and white were bleeding into each other or there were these lumpy glitter chunks in the transition. In person the lack of glitter on her eyelid/eyeshadow area is pretty glaring. I just picked up the least bad looking of the lot. Still not sure if I'm going to keep her, but I'd rather have her and decide to get rid of her later than pass now and then scramble to find her in a few months lol.

Personally not a fan of loads of glitter but my girl wants the Dumbo and we got her daughter Ursula (but like a lot of others have said she was kind of a hot mess!) Belle didn't look like she was as messed up as Ursula was. Let's hope Dumbo looks better in person!

The Ursula is gorgeous, but I really don't have room for another collection. And like a PP said, you need to eye the nose, about 1/3 of them had the glitter rubbed off the nose.

Dumbo looks AMAZING!!!! I must have him!!! I just got Ursula for my daughter and was kinda sad to see how weird she looked in person, I had bought Belle for my best friend and she looked so much better! I seriously hope that the Snow White one and Dumbo look good!

Dumbo actually looks a bit more promising than Ursula. I may have to get a select few of the full Diamond Collection. Belle being my first, she actually is still pretty to me. Could be the glitter doesn't go well with Ursula's dark tone but looks better on characters with brighter colors.

I don't think so. Last time I was HT they had quite a few of the Belle. Ursula wasn't out yet at the time but I imagine they got just as much of her.

I am a Super Disney freak!!! But I am not thrilled with the same pops just being glittered, nothing different. Same belle, same Ursula as the 2 pack, is dumbo going to the the same as the Disney box one? I just wish they were different pops,,,, sigh just my 2 cents, which isn't worth much at all. :clown: :clown:
