I have not seen any of the new pops yet. But i just picked up the old version of pennywise. Cannot wait to see them

Got this from a very reliable source! !!! If you want this figure you have until November. This chase is done, price will come down, just be patient.

Just based on what I know I think he's saying the Chase is indeed done. The standard version should continue to be available but due to a licensing issue, the chase will no longer be produced.

Yes you are correct the chase is done, prices should definitely come down over the next week or so. You should be able to snag one in wild keep looking .

well I've never found any chase so yeah they are never in reach for me, but this is the first time I've heard of one being discontinued for a reason like this. heh, darn my creepy clown collecting ways!

This has happened with a few but usually the licensing is for the line not the individual variant. Like what happened with Clockwork Orange. Most of the time these get made as models or protos and then never make it out to the production run.

the price of the chase is going to come down in the short term but probably not below $100 at worst. these are going to go back up quickly esp if the movie is very good and a success. by that time most of the chase pieces are already going to be gone so its simple supply and demand at that point. price on this is not going to stay low for long.

I don't get it.. If the chase is no longer being produced, wouldn't that mean the prices would go up, not down?

They have been going up
But its all hype and when people see the prices starting to rise thats when they cash in. In the end the prices level themselves out.

Initially when the news broke that it was being vaulted, the price skyrocketed to over $200. But it has since come down significantly to around $100. I think what he means there might still be ones available in the wild up through November. I have checked a few Walgreens that still haven't put their Halloween pops up. In the short run there might be a flood of these on the secondary market as flippers continue to put so many of them up. But in the long run if this becomes of coveted pop, then the price will go up again.

Check your local HT. 4-5 of the ones in Washington got a Pennywise shipment in today. Extra salt after not getting the Porg flocked chase. But hopefully helps you guys score in your area.

Just got home from an early preview of IT with my Brute!! I was so not disappointed and I'm totally freaked out...Like I'm going to have to turn my Pennywise Pops around to try and get some sleep tonight!! :eek:

Yes! It did not disappoint!! I'm a fan of the book and I've got to say aside from a couple things, they did an excellent job with this movie!!

**side note: the back of the Pennywise box is just as bad as the Pop, so I just put them in the closet!! :blush:

Got the common a couple weeks ago from a Mom and Pop shop in PA. Still checking Walmart and Hot Topic daily for the exclusives. Going to see the movie Saturday night at the only drive in theater left in NJ!

My HT only got one chase today and it went to the girl who's been there every morning 2 hours before the store opens since the price skyrocketed (she did the same thing for Maleficent chases). I think that was my last hope. I'll just focus on getting the others and hope the price on this one continues to decrease to something reasonable.
