Walgreens horror assortment

I have a full routine I use when calling.
its worked well so far, I got the Pennywise (and chase)
and got the seated sally X2
and then got the Jason and Freddy re-issues (not chase)
I traded with another member - one of my sallys for one of his Behemoths
and then I found a box-damaged Cody hiding all by his lonesome at a hidden little Walgreens

Any tips when calling ?

Call and ask to speak to a store manager regarding item availablilty.
When you get on, be super polite, "good evening sir (ma'am) I noticed that you're slowly displaying your Halloween items and was wondering if you had received the funko Halloween pop cases. I'm looking for the one marked villians.
Once you get your answer yes or no, you start letting them know that you would like to purchase any of the pennywise pops that they have. If they don't have them ask if they could give you a call when they come in or are put out on display ("can I leave my phone number?").
Finish up with a well, thanks for your time, I hope you have a wonderful night (day)

I went to my walgreen looking for the horror pops but the guy working there told me I bought the chases already. In my head I was like this is the last time I'll come here

If you don't mind me asking, what location is this? I know the one on Fort Apache and Trop has an employee that stakes claim to Funko products.

The one store I checked, the gentleman was very nice, and went back to look, and found the case, they got busy, and he said "Follow me up front, open it, and just put what you don't want on this cart", so I opened it, and pulled a Xenomorph, and Pennywise chase. The case had 3 FNAF, 2 Xenomorph, and 1 Pennywise. It didn't have the NBC pops in it.

awesome thanks! found a crushed sally seated, and at another walgreens i found a pennywise chase. the weird thing is it was the only pop they had from the villain box. no other halloween villains or nbc or halloween display stuff out.

It's just weird to me that different Walgreens get their shipments so far apart from others. The multiple Walgreens near us haven't received either their Horror or NBC boxes yet, but the ones about 20 miles away have all received theirs. You would think their warehouses would ship stuff around the same time ...

If they are getting them, they have received them already. All of the Funko stuff shipped with one of the first two or three Halloween distributions. It's possible that one store might get it nearly a week after another just based on delivery scheduling, but the DCs should have none left by now.
I might do some research after company time tomorrow and look at on hands chain-wide.

a couple of the stores actually looked up the WIC, for the case, as well as the UPC code from the Pennywise, and they actually showed the pops in their system, it just said they hadn't received them yet. They told me I should check back tomorrow around noon, when their truck gets in. I found it odd, that one store would have them, and the other store 2 blocks down, didn't.

Clearly, no Pops are selling at all locally because, as I've said, not one single Pop has sold in the local store in at least 6 months. Not one. In fact, in the month between my visits, the Pops haven't even been moved. They are still in exactly the same order they were in on 2 separate visits.

Only one Walgreens near me has started the Halloween setup and they only had an endcap for the NBC items. They had 4 of each exclusive NBC pops but nothing else.

I finally found the NBC set after checking five Walgreens. They have no order to how they do their stuff. Two stores had already sold their boxes two weeks ago, I found my stuff two days ago, and the other two Walgreens still haven't received/put out their stuff yet. Most of the other pops were with the NBC stuff was FNTF, no Pennywise or older jason/freddy chases.

I had the same thing happen to me, someone in the Madison pop group found a chase Pennywise at the store I was just at the day before, but I didn't press enough for them to pull them out the back (they gave me the soft "it'll be out for Halloween" answer). 2 stores near me have the NBC end cap up with no pops. the manager checked the back after saying "oh yeah, I think I saw that box in the back". I talked to the manager at the other who said "we were all so excited to see what everyone was calling about, but didn't get any of the pops...but we have the back packed full of boxes and already have Christmas stuff in."

I've seen full cases on the shelf at 3 different stores,no chases but they do make it to shelves.

We have 13 stores here, 3 of them, the employees have gone above and beyond, to help me. One store actually had the stock, and pulled the case from the back, let me open it, pull what I wanted, and he put the rest in the back. The other 2 stores, the people spent upwards of 30 minutes going through the stuff, and were unable to find it. The others, you could tell they felt put out by me asking.

I gave up on the NBC pops and moved on to the Horror Classic Minis. Actually found a case with 4 blind boxes left the other day. My only score ever at a Walgreens so far.

I finally found a Walgreens that had some, there was a small bin of the Halloween pops in front of a tiny Halloween endcap. sadly no Pennywise though, chase or otherwise.

All three where I'm at have slowly started putting out stock. Pops should be soon. I'm not itching for any of the new ones but two of the Walgreens are between stores I frequent.

Iam about ready to toss in the towel on the nbc pops. and yes I know there is ebay but iam not paying a flipper one penny over cost. so ill check a few more stores after that ill move on as iam more curious about the nycc pops than the nbc pops.

I would wait until mid-September to throw in the towel. Most stores should start getting them in soon, and putting them out after the back to school stuff clears out.

The pops aren't street dated but if they have them they have to wait until they reset and put out the halloween/seasonal items. Walgreens is particular about their displays. I went to 4-5 walgreens last friday and only 2 had their halloween section up. The bigger one that had their stuff had about 3-4 JAson's Freddy's and Pennywise and when i bought the regular Pennywise cashier lady asked why they were so popular cuz someone had bought a bunch the day before so I'm guessing there was possibly 1 of each chase.

I'm thinking this week or next will be when most Walgreens put out their Halloween stuff.
