HQ commemorative pin

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

HQ commemorative pin

Postby Jade-Rex » Sun Aug 20, 2017 8:58 pm

I didn't know there were any 1000 piece count exclusives at the HQ flagship opening until I saw a listing on ebay for the PSH knight freddy and pin. I was in the 6pm slot and didn't get one which means over 200 (at least, I don't if anyone at the 5pm slot got them) were swindled away somehow. That is so disappointing. I knew scammers were rampant but that's crazy to me!

Yeah there were people double dipping and making multiple purchases at different cashiers. Everyone who got a ticket should have gotten the set with purchase, but didn't. Just like the LE500's selling out at 1pm, they should've been available to everyone with a 2pm slot also but weren't

That's terrible. That's at least 200-250 double dippers and cop purchases.

You're the third person to mention police officers buying stuff that I've seen. I guess it was a pretty blatant display.

Ya I saw a lot of them during the 12 pm time slot I was in, especially Kevin Smith to go get him to sign the pop.
Life is full of questions isn't it? Though, naturally I prefer to think of them as Riddles.

If an IYO SKY funko/proto shows hit me up ASAP!

And because the ones I spoke with self admitted not to know much about Funko but obviously know about Kevin Smith.

Heck, I'd be too if I was a cop working that area on Saturday. Funko went all out with their grand opening so I'm sure the police officers working that shift wanted to bring something back home with them. Especially if they have kids. Heck, who knows, maybe some of the cops will join the board.

It was the only thing I wanted from Funko HQ since I just stared collecting pins last year at sdcc. Now I wait and try to snipe one on eBay in my humble price range.

Yeah, I was at the pop shop during SDCC when they called the cops on Funko. Line management was difficult, but some of the tent setups and camping out areas were out of control too. With so much hype and popularity, they will never have a perfect system. All you can hope for it to be safe and as smooth as possible. :freddy3:
