Definitely have my fingers crossed for this. I can't wait till they announce the winners.

I really hope that they review the database before selecting winners. Funko should be able to search the database for the same address and remove all but one entry since it said one per household (or remove all of the entries for that shared address since that person violated the rules).
I agree, I hope that Funko does actually go through it because;Funko wrote:One Freddy Pop! per household.
But this is probably what their result sheet looks like:
Unfortunately, deduping addresses isn't the easiest thing to do. Small variations can make it hard to catch. For example, instead of 123 Main St., you could use:
123 Main St (no period)
123 Main Street
123 Main Street Ste 1
I'm sure that's how a lot of people order multiple items through the online Funko store, and probably why they're now requiring the shipping and billing address to match (although that's only partially helpful).

Hopefully they can track it and be fair. I voted, so I am assuming they tracked the e-mail or something. I registered for the thank you gift. Fingers crossed.

When did they make this change? I guess I got to change my billing address on my card then. I have to ship stuff to my cousin's house right now because my wife I live with my parents to save for our house. Parents never stop being parents and they would be p*** if they realized just how much I spent on funko.

I read that they made the change with the new online shop. I can't confirm it myself, but that's what others were saying. I imagine they're only checking the zip code of the card, but it is possible to turn on street validation too (although that's usually too restrictive).

Something will come by Funko -- they have been busy with things, such as the opening of the store/HQ. Just gotta be patient.

I've always wondered how people did this, but if a program can't catch such small variances, there's no hope for us regular folk except to hope we aren't too small a needle in the haystack when the winners are chosen (assuming it's still a lottery).

I just hope the board members that put in for this get one. My guess is this will not be that limited. They had to know when they originally put out a gift for this that they would have to make a few more than say 200.

I'm sure the grand opening delayed anything progressing with this. With it now behind, hopefully news should start circulating.

They should have an accurate number. They have the number of votes received. Should help with the run.

Correct they know how many people that voted. That does not matter as so many people feel entitled. I have heard and seen post saying they didn't vote but have spent so much on Funko they could at least give them one. I did vote and posted it here on the boards right after I voted. But didn't see the notice for people on the board that voted to sign up for the free Freddy. So I had to go into the general public lottery which is probably mostly the people that didn't vote. But it is what it is and if I don't get the free one for voting I will just have to buy it off EBay to go with all my other Freddy's. Life goes on and everyone that did vote didn't do it because we felt entitled and knew we were going to be offered something free for doing it. I myself and the others voted for Funko as I have seen it grow since 2005 to what it is today. Brian and staff really took the ball and ran with it. So all I have to say is great job Funko and staff and best of luck to everyone on the Freddy. I'm prepared to buy mine if necessary. And one other thing I would rather Funko not notify the winners. It's much better to just come home and find a surprise. Really makes the end of the day so much better

Agreed. I voted and was lucky another board member hit me up about the give away. I have no idea how many they made but wouldn't be upset if I don't get one. I just voted because I love the Star Wars and Walking Dead toys. If I get one bonus! But of all of the other toys I collect no other company treats its patrons as well as Funko. The give aways may not be perfect but at least they try. I remember when they used to help board members get SDCC badges and now it's helping some get Funday Tickets and HQ time slots. This give away. They really do treat us the best they can.

I agree with the points made above. Personally when I cast my vote, for Funko I didn't do so to get a free pop. I did it because I love their product. When Brian announced it, I thought it was an amazing gesture to the fans. I signed up to get one. So if I get one, Great! If I don't, it sucks but I'll live and will be ok, and still be collecting Funko the next day.

I just hope I submitted correct email address to Funko in case they cross reference. Since I have two emails, one for non junk purposes and another for junk purposes, I really hope I gave my main one as that is what I gave Funko. At the same time though, if that prevents me from getting it, so be it.

They should have sent you an email with the information that you submitted just to cover their bases. So if you find that email then you know you were correct.
