I know what you mean. Almost makes you wish that the Funko HQ was a lot closer to Seattle .

If it's $70+ each way if you use an Uber, then might as well just rent a car. It will be cheaper to rent a car than to take an Uber up.

Our buddy has a fairly economical car, so if we squeeze the 3 of us into it and make the 15 hour drive each way, that somehow sounded like a much better solution... in our heads... and in texts, but now that its upon us, and we're saying it aloud, ... we're like... ummm..... how the heck did we come to decide on this option?

I would love to go, just it is not doable right now. Plus I'm still recovering from doing D23 and SDCC, hehe! And what I did in March, I can't complain. I will never forget that amazing awesome experience in seeing their previous HQ. (Once again everyone at Funko, thank you!) So I'm good. If I am doing ECCC next year again--most likely I will--for sure I'm going up north to see the new place. Anyway, have fun everyone! I expect everyone's wallet to be hurting. If it's not, you didn't do the trip right. Lol Safe travels.

Yeah, if my airline mile surprise hadn't kicked in we'd likely have been in the same position but with the rental car voucher, navy base near the event for cheaper lodging and $24 airfare, this was literally a no brainer! And it's hubby's 40th so we'll do some exploring while we're there too!

I heard from Sarcasticguy that you can take public transit for $7 each way. It'll take a while to get there, but worth it if you're saving $63 each way.
