Re: Marvel and Star Wars NON Bobbleheads?
I would buy SO many more marvel and star wars if they were non-bobbles. As it is I have like 3 marvel and 4 star wars. Compare that to like 20+ DC, Star Trek and LOTR

Would you rather have Marvel/Star Wars POPs bobble, or none at all? Because that's the situation Funko is in.

Definitely bobble. Is that a restriction Disney puts on Funko to get the liscenses
It's because of Hasbro they have to do it. Hasbro is also the reason all Star Wars ones have stands, and why it has been taking so long for vechicles to get made.

I don't mind the bobble, but considering a lot of the Marvel characters topple over or bend because of the bobble, I wish they didn't bobble.
I get why they bobble though, so I'll still buy them and watch them fall over.

I may be wrong, but pretty sure the Jedi Conan is a bobblehead.

The issue is that for both Marvel and Star Wars, Hasbro is kind of a bully who hogs the rights to figures in the 3 3/4 inch scale. The fix was (and still is) to make all Star Wars and Marvel POPs bobbleheads. WHile some may complain about this and/or not buy the bobblehead POPs, without STar Wras and Marvel (which go along with DC and DIsney as Funko's big 4 licenses), there is no way Funko would be anywhere close to as big as it is today.
The only exception to this rule that I know of (not counting mistakes) are Conan POPs.

this statement is hilarious.
i was very surprised that conan spiderman was not a bobble. conan jedi is.
i think its all hasbro fault not disney if i am not mistaken. lego and hasbro have been battling this exclusive action figure concept for years i think.
most hilarious example to me is the lego magnets. it was literally a figure put on top of a magnet base. i can only surpise that hasbro got mad and made lego glue the figures onto the magnet base.
