As a general rule, all of my Chases and Freddys go into Stacks. From there, it becomes about value, rarity, and sentimentality. NYCC QuiGon went right into a Stack when I got off the Funko NYCC line, and hasn't left since. FDO T-Bone is in also in a Stack, because he's irreplaceable. I have a Thing and a Ghost Rider with some of the worst boxes you've seen - but they are in Stacks. As is my B.I.G. with a faded box.

Right now, I have anything in a Pop Stack that's worth more than $50-ish or autographed. Currently, that's 10 autographed Star Wars Pops (Greedo, flocked Chewbacca #63, Lando, Darth Maul, Boba Fett #102, K-2SO, Ackbar #28, C-3PO #13 chrome, Emperor, holo Emperor), holo Qui Gon, flocked Wicket, Slave Leia, Jar Jar, Queen Amidala, and blue meth Heisenberg.

pretty much 200+ I put in a stack, plus a couple a bit under if I have extra stacks (like gold ryu, HT bilbo and gandalf with hat).

About 50+ for soft protector, plus a few under from when my collection was lower value and I have been too lazy to take them off

We put anything worth $50 and above right into a stack case. The rest are in soft plastic cases.

My pop deserves a stack when I'm in love with it, regardless of value. Box has to be mint.

Then there's the old expensive pops that must have stacks $100+ value.

Soft protectors are good enough for everything in between.

I put in anything that I personally value highly and that is hard to come by. I don't want it to get damaged. I have semi expensive freddy's in soft protectors but my gold soldier from overwatch in one

If my wallet allowed, I'd put all my Pops in soft protectors, and just grail-type Pops in the hard stacks. I've got about 12 Pops in hard stacks right now, and those are in the $200-$400 range. I've only got about 100 Pops in the soft protectors, but I would need to spend a mortgage payment or so to get caught up and get all my Pops protected.

I really like the pop stacks. Like others, I keep my more rare items in them, like chase pieces, or older pieces. I have a friend who puts a pop stack on everything. He has over 1000 pops, and he's slowing putting a pop stack in one. I think he is more than half way there.

I was never much of a Pop Stack! person but that all changed when someone sent me a purchased pop in a stack. Now I keep anything worth $300 and above in a stack (though they are hard to get in). Anything below $300 I still keep in a protector.

For a long time I kept thinking buy protectors..? Or spend the money on more pops...? pops!

I'm finally getting close to all my pops protected by buying 10 every now and then.

Yes, lol! I find myself speaking in terms of Pops instead of dollars. For example, I just did about 50 Pops worth of repairs to my car today. One day, I'll spend about 100 Pops worth, and get some protectors, haha!

For me anything around the $200 range on up gets a pop stack including prototypes. Everything $25-$100ish gets a pop protector. Love how solid pop stacks are when stacked on one another. Just makes for a cleaner display outside of a detolf.

I have no pop stacks and don't plan to have any. I heard sometimes it's hard to fit pops in pop stacks, plus they are too expensive, even if you just buy them with hot cash. I'd rather spend my money on pops.

Most of my more valuable pieces (rare vaulted, chase, and some Freddies) are in pop protectors at the moment, but when/if I go completely OOB, I won't need those anymore either. I don't know if I'll go completely OOB though just in case I ever need to sell my collection. I am not planning on it, but you never know when priorities will change.

The only pops I keep in stacks are signed pops and I need to get more for them. I usually take a few empty stacks with me to a con in case I pick up something expensive that I wouldn't want crushed walking around with it in a bag.

I am an OOB collector but I use Pop Stacks for Pops that the Value is $100+, if I really like the design or has a special meaning for me. Currently I only have the Comickazee Peter Parker and the Collector Corps jumping Spidey in stacks. Also already have the stacks that the Metallica Pops are going in when they arrive.

I have a few of my pops in stacks, but I'm mainly an OOB collector. My thought is... would I be devastated if this box somehow got destroyed... that's how I determine if the piece of worthy of extra protection.

Pretty much what I do...or if I just really like it and it's vaulted. Still need to put more of the others in soft protectors, especially after a couple close calls with coffee spills on a table I sort stuff on

Anything over $100 is in a stack for me, The only exceptions are complete sets I have such as the Sukjai set (not fully complete due to this year's release) and the gold gamestop set from a few years ago.

I try to put everything in a soft pop protector and high value in stacks. But I recently discovered Retroprotection Heavy Duty 4'' protectors.

*Disclaimer: I have nothing to do retroprotection. I'm just sharing my experience after my purchase.*

To me they are the roided out version of a soft pop protector. It's about $2.50 + shipping so just a fraction of the cost of a pop stack. I feel that they will withstand a high fall because of how sturdy they feel. Now I've organized my pops based on personal and ppg value. Those in pop stacks: first pop - SDCC 2014 headless hershel, 2016 Conan Set, Fundays 2016 set. Heavy Duty Protectors: Tony the Tiger, Gemini Collectibles Eeyore, Chase pops - Eleven with hair, Captain Salazar, Remy.

However, I love the look of "stacked" pops.
