I wonder if this means they'll be going by the honor system as to who voted or not? Especially since it mentions requests could exceed quantity.

I want one and i did vote but If more people sign up that didn't vote, it's going to be hard to get.

That may be the problem.

I voted and totally didn't expect anything from Funko either. A Freddy is just a nice surprise I hope I will get.

It's not just the flippers. Some of the comments I've seen on FB have been rather egregious in entitlement.

Well, it is what it is. I voted, so will be signing up in August. If I do or don't win a Pop, it won't be the end of the world. When I voted, I wasn't thinking about being rewarded for my vote. I voted because I wanted Brian and the Funko Team to win. And they did, and I am happy.

Yeah, I'll wait to see how they're going to handle this but this may end up being the absolute worst way they could have gone here. When they first announced this, I wasn't sure how they could make it work without breaking some rules regarding voter confidentiality. I wonder if they felt obligated to make something happen since it was out there already. Admitting you were misguided in your promises is hard, but if more flippers end up with these than anyone, they should have just said, "our bad, it's not going to work."

I guess we'll know more soon, but I fear the worst. Hope I'm wrong...

Ill throw my hat in to the ring on Aug 1st, but I echo everyone else I voted because funko is a great company that deserves to be recognized, this Freddy is a very nice gesture that just highlights one of the reasons Funko deserves this award.

I would get upset about this too. I didn't vote so I won't enter, but Sergio did so he can enter and one is all we need for our collection! But I think for sure people are going to enter that didn't vote either, but possibly Funko has a system in place for that.

I agree. I voted because Funko has really grabbed me and wallet in the last few years. I voted and then I posted on the Funatic board the same day I voted. I love Freddy but I would expect a lot of people that didn't vote will say they did. But again I didn't vote to get something for nothing. So if I get one free great. If not then I guess I will be buying one. Let's just hope for honesty and not greed. Thank You Funko you guys are great! :violent3:

Well said, on the other end I'm sure there's going to be people who didn't even vote complaining they didn't win a free pop. I voted for Funko to win and I'm glad they did =)

100% agree with this. Didn't expect anything for voting, and will still be happy in the end whether I get one or not.

Yes I seen some of those posts on Facebook. A few even said I didn't vote but I spend enough $money$ on Funko. And I didn't vote but still going to sign up for the free Freddy. So looks like it's going to be a free for all! [-X

My wife and I both voted, funko deserved to win! Sadly there will be many that didn't vote that will end up getting a Freddy, but hey I still think its awesome that Brian is following through on this and I really hope to add a holo freddy to my collection!!!

I am wondering if the signups will do a check of the emails vs the TOTY emails that were used to vote. They must have some way of fact checking this. I really cannot see them using the honor system as everyone will sign up and the requests will be obscene.

Either way if I get one or not (I did vote for Pop! myself) it's very cool of Funko to give back!
