I saw something on Amazon yesterday that had a ship date of September 6, but it was gone today so I have no idea whats going on.

I've seen several people on Instagram post pictures of whole cases. 2 of them tagged Radar Toys so these are starting to trickle out. Haven't seen anyone mention getting them at retail stores yet...only a matter of time. Layout is available on there as well (hint: stay away from the bottom)

Has anyone seen these in stores, and if so where? I cannot find any so many people are only getting full cases shipped.

Anyone [small] who orders directly from Funko by the case/master case load seems to have gotten them in. None of the big-box stores have them on their shelves yet. I would assume their warehouses would have to get the pallets of product in from Funko, break them down for store wide delivery, truck them to said stores, then the stores stock them.

That's all just here-say by me, but it makes sense...

Found a case at a local WalMart and got the 1/72 Glenn.

A case of these popped up at one of my local Walmarts. This is just one case at one Walmart, but it matches what I just saw on a google image search. It was laid out very much like the Fallout 4 minis. The bottom was all 1/12 and two 1/6 in bottom back. Top front had the 1/36 and 1/72, and the rest of top was three 1/24s and a 1/12 in top back left.

I got a Denise today and the arrow was broken off on the front and back of her head

That's probably correct, they're the only store I've seem them at so far. They actually had two untouched cases set out so I got pretty lucky there.

Found them at B&N today myself. They weren't out but the manager knew where they were in back so she brought them right out. Wondering if we'll get some mystery exclusives at HT/GS. Would love a GITD something or other

Thanks to everyone for the heads up on these hitting B&N - went in today and there was 1 case out with the 1/72 spot missing which was lame but bought the rest anyways since $5.95 a box + the 10% membership discount is the best price out there.

Booo... My HT ended up with the exact same contents as the case I pre-ordered online. Working on trades right now for most of the other 1/24s & 1/36s, but that still leaves me four 1/72 short...

My B&N got a couple of cases but someone must have grabbed a couple and they filled in the one they put aside for me. Didn't have any 1/72's. Strange that I only got 2 Shanes, which I knew were in each case. The other 10 were Andrea, Dale, Denise, Gareth, Lizzie, Mika, Sam, Sophia (Non-Walker), Walker Deanna, and Merle.
Is every case supposed to have at least 1 of the 1/72's?

No, not every case has a 1/72 in it.

No. 1/72 figures require there to be at least 6 different configurations of cases of 12 figures (1/6 x 1/12 = 1/72). Each 1/72 can only be in one of these configurations. There are only four 1/72 figures. So, there will be at least two layouts without a 1/72.

Thank you. I thought 1/72 meant that there was 1 of these figures made for every 72 of the others. Like there being a 1/6 chase figure I assumed was 1 chase variant for every 6 common produced. I wasn't quite sure if it meant per figure, case, or production run.

That stinks you ended up with the same contents in two cases! I hope you can the others without too much trouble.

I'd be curious to know which 1/24s and 1/36s you got. MY BBTS case will arrive today, and I've been thinking of trying to find some of these at retail. However, if a lot of the cases everywhere are going to be the exact same as the case I get online, I'm not going to bother. Maybe it would be better to wait for stores to get a second shipment of these?

Or maybe I'm just thinking too hard about it. ;-)

There are at least 6 different case layouts, so there is at worst a 1/6 chance of any store you go into having the exact same case as you got. Of course there is a fair chance it will have the same 1/24s as you got even if it isn't the same case, and will definitely have all the same 1/12 and 1/6 figures.
