Loving the Wetmore Forrest!
Gotta collect them all! I wonder if one will be released each week or just random over time?

I like how cute they are! I'm surprised someone who likes the cuteness of Dorbz that much doesn't care for these

I'm probably going to gamble and buy this next week with whatever next week's shop item is. Try and save on shipping if I can. But I'm definitely interested in getting all of these lil guys!

I was supposed to be saving for SDCC, but I couldn't resist Tumblebee's cuteness. I'll also be getting the red one because I'm a sucker for antlers and possibly the purple flying one.

Damnit thought I was in the clear. I wonder rif Pop Monsters will all be Funko Shop exclusive as I would imagine these might be a tougher sell to stores since it doesn't tie to a well known license?
I can see them keeping these in the Funko Shop, at least while they get the line up and running. They'd have to order way more in order to distribute and as cute as these are, it'd be a gamble nonetheless for both funko and the distributor.

I zoomed in just out of curiosity to see if I could better see the other monsters and the code lined them all up nicely for me, so just in case anyone else wants to see them

Yeah, I find that unfortunate. I dig the new guy and wanted to order him, but only did so today because the Funko Shop said it was limited to 5,000 *and* said it was a Funko Shop exclusive. Now both of those notations have been removed.
I'm actually not a fan of limited editions and exclusives; I'm all for *everything* being easily available. But it's an unfortunate bait-and-switch if I just paid almost $24 after shipping and tax for a Pop that might end up in stores soon for $9.99 plus tax.
I'd feel a bit better and more justified in having just paid that much if at least this was in fact a Funko Shop exclusive.

Now that it's not limited anymore, I probably should have waited for whatever is coming up next to save on shipping, but oh well. It's so hard to tell what will stick around for a week or what sells out right away.

I'm wondering if this line does well, Funko will create some Gargamel type villain and some more back story on Wetmore Forest. Then will come more products, an animated TV show, and a live action movie. The possibilities are endlessssss!

Have they ever sold a non-exclusive, non-limited edition Pop on the Funko Shop before? I haven't followed their online shop intensely for too long.
If this *isn't* a limited edition, then the limit of One-Per-Customer seems odd. Aren't they happy to sell a dozen of each Pop to customers when it's not limited?

This is just like the regular Freddy Dorbz on the Shop or the Green Huckleberry Hound. These aren't going to show up on shelves at Target.

Perhaps that's the likely outcome. But as of right now, while the Freddy and Huckleberry Hound are not listed as limited editions, they are listed as Funko Shop exclusives and the pics show a Funko Shop exclusive sticker. Whereas, Tumblebee had the "Funko Shop exclusive" notation removed and no sticker is shown indicating it's an exclusive.

Only thing I can think of is that they are planning on selling these at Funko HQ and that's why they removed the sticker and count. Who knows though, but hopefully we find out some more news soon.
I'm excited to see if they come out with other locations like a swamp, dessert, mountains, etc.

I definitely want to go down this road and get this whole line. I'm a huge fan of monsters in general whether they be horrifying and creepy like the ones from Legendary Creatures & Myths or cute and lovable like Wetmore. I'm just a fan in general of things that are whimsical, creative, and imaginative.

Tumblebee is super cute and tempting but I don't want to pay shipping and have it be over $20. There are a couple monsters I really like and will more than likely get but at like $23 a pop there is no way I can get them all. Especially with SDCC right around the corner.

Yep, I'd think they would be at cons and at the Funko HQ store when it opens. So it wouldn't exactly be exclusive to the "Funko Shop" online as stuff has previously been.

Here's your IG photo:
I have to admit this isn't at all what I was expecting, when I heard "Funko originals" I was thinking something along the lines of the Spastiks, like crazy hot rod monsters with blood shot eyes and such. I'm disappointed, but I will say this is pretty darned cute and I would definitely buy it.
This little guy is on the Funko blog's Wetmore Forest page, so this was an excellent sneak peek!
Also, I hope this concept stays as far away from Happy Tree Friends as possible.
