Marvel POP! Updates Thread 2018 (Updated July 20th)

Not sure if it's been posted, but Barnes and Noble systems have a GOTG Vol 2 - Baby Groot w/Candy Bowl

No pic of the figure and I don't believe it's an exclusive. But I'm sure we'll see it soon.

Just found the Superior Spider-Man! He's so cool, only picked up one though. If anyone lives near Lindenhurst IL, there were about 4 of him left.

Picked up Superior yesterday in North Carolina! Awesome pop. This particular store had about four left. Sadly, have yet to see a Juggernaut or Mace Windu :rolleyes:

I know a lot of the individual stores do not restock until they're shelves are empty. Find someone to buy up the other POPs on the shelf.

I thought I had seen an Upcoming Pop List from Gamestop that confirmed that Gladiator Hulk would be a 6" pop :-k

I thought I had seen an Upcoming Pop List from Gamestop that confirmed that Gladiator Hulk would be a 6" pop

sorry i don't pay close attention to these things. would that be one possibly shared with sdcc ? or like the batman and superman two-pack from 2 yrs ago. an exclusive to sdcc two pack thor and hulk ?

I might be the only one who doesn't want a 6 inch Hulk. lol

I do however think we need a 6 inch Apocalypse asap though.
Still holding out hope to get a 6 inch Galactus someday too...

If we ever do get a Galactus, he needs to be 9inches lol

Will there be anymore Marvel pops for SDCC waves? Honestly, I'm not impressed with what is out. The only one I'd consider getting is Red-She Hulk and that is just a repaint of She Hulk.

Agreed about She-Hulk. IF my wants are limited I'll keep her on my list, which four waves in I only want Baxter, so she's on the list under him. If my list gets too big for my wallet, she gets bumped off. I mean, she looks like a cool repaint, but I have never read a comic with her in it so she doesn't mean much to me.

There's 1 more SDCC Wave today and it's their biggest one volume wise, so there could be a mix of stuff.

Everything so far is Limited Edition so all will be shared I believe.

And my other comments got deleted, but there's some good stuff coming. If you look hard enough, you'll see the list.

Just saw Wave 5...yeah, if there's no marvel, im not interested. Looks like I'll won't be getting anything from SDCC this year.

Galactus would need to be a 9 in pop or something along those lines. I want both red hulk and hulk in 6 inch

Other than an entire wave solely dedicated to Guardians of the Galaxy I just don't see a logical reason Funko would split up their Marvel waves the way they did, the Marvel wave included both comic pops as well as pops from Homecoming already.

I would LOVE to be proven wrong by Funko though!

The logical reason is to maintain momentum through July. Funko has already said that some themes will be split. Other than Star Wars, how many other themes warrant multiple waves?

After seeing the DC wave, I am 95% convinced that there's going to be a second Marvel wave. Seeing those old comic style DC pops makes me very optimistic we'll get some new Marvel people.

Right that was a huge wave! I just wonder if they were referring to Marvel or Star Wars. That Star Wars wave was a baby wave. Personally I want a wave of each.

If theres a second wave and includes Marvel - That would be awesome, but I don't see why they would split the waves considering DC looks like they have a lot - don't think DC will have a second wave dedicated to DC again.

Would love to be proven wrong as I'd like to snag something interesting from Marvel !

I refuse to accept that there won't be a SDCC exclusive Guardians of the Galaxy 2 pop, there's way too much they can do with this.

We could still see Ragnarok and GOTG2 show up in another wave, and Dorbz were missing too. I definitely think we're getting another Marvel wave.
