Dude--"Damaged" is an understatement! "Demolished" is a much better word for that! That's unacceptable! Hope you were able to get something done about it :(

Stayed away from anything GOTG until I saw the film--which I just did last night with my son. Must say I'm with the camp that believes Yondu's character carried the storyline to a higher level. His story and the scenes involving him were the best part of the movie to me. It's creating a little bit of a frenzy in the Dorbz world though, I see. The movie...the Glow-In-The-Dark red fin...the lack of the latter feature not being listed or specifically pre-announced has added an element of surprise that seems to be contributing to the hype. Regardless, like many of you I still think the Dorbz is pretty cool. It's not hard to see why it's becoming more popular. Oh well, also like some of you I'm late this one too. Appreciate this thread. If so many funatics hadn't been posting about this I wouldn't have known it existed. Thanks :)

This dorbz is so great! So happy I got him. And I checked and mine also has the glowing red fin but it's very faint

Oof, those damaged box pics. I wonder if they got those shipped to their home or ship to store? When I ordered Ursula, I had her shipped to my home and the box looked just like that. When I ordered Yondu and Cat in the Hat, I decided to try shipping it to the store instead. That time the boxes came out perfectly. When they shipped Ursula to my home, there was a loose piece of bubble wrap and that was it. When I did ship to store, each Dorbz was individually wrapped in bubble wrap. So I'm definitely doing ship to store from now on.

I don't want to jinx you, but when I did ship-to-store they didn't use any bubble wrap

All the boxes were pristine though so I got lucky. It feels like you are playing the lottery whenever you buy something because you never know how items will be packaged or how the mailman will handle them.

Walmart is definitely hit or miss when it comes to shipping. Got lucky with the Rey Pop Deluxe Ride, but some of the stuff I've shipped to store is a bit banged up. Nothing to really complain about though, it's been pretty good. Still think ship-to-store is best.

My Rey was kinda beat up since they had shoved her in a box that ways way too small and just taped up the sides to make it fit #-o

It's strange, they either under pack it, or over pack it. Mine was over packed and it was pushing in the sides. It escaped major damage though...

You are very lucky! I'd say roughly 60% of my Walmart ship to stores have come in awful condition.

I've only ordered from HT twice – once to my home and once to the store. So it's a theory that still needs to be tested, but I'm guessing shipping to store for HT is a little better than home shipping. Maybe them saving money shipping to the store allows them to use an extra piece of bubble wrap lol

It was ship to Store. Even the HT employee already warned be prior that the box looked trashed when they got it.
