okay so out of the box I am seeing that regular spidey seems to be the most common. I hope I don't get him...anyway Im hoping for Spider Gwen or Kraven

Overall I was extremely happy with my pulls. I didn't bother grabbing the rest because I figured there was another Spider-Man, no rhino because he is 1/36 and the rest of the girls I have absolutely no interest in.

Thanks! I actually went to a GameStop last night with a friend and they had some as well. I pulled another lizard! I gave him to my friend so he was pumped. If anyone finds them at GameStop they are buy 3 get 1 free so it was 22 bucks for 4 of them. Now I'm just on the hunt for rhino, kraven and hobgoblin who I feel like I will never get . This has got to be one of my favorite series of minis ever, just need carnage and it would be perfect!

I've bought 22 and gotten 7 spiderman, so luck is on your side. No layout for sure on this one, really sucks they went the $ siphon route with these. Good luck to all, gonna have to wait for the exclusives or buy a postage scale to level the playing field, need that Kraven.

I'm thankfully finished with the basic set, minus Miles Morales. I will wait till the Walmart and Target cases come out and try to get him there, because one would assume there'll be more of a set layout. I managed to get everyone minus him and Rhino in one full case from GameStop, a batch of nine boxes from another GameStop and two boxes from Hot Topic. I bought Rhino on eBay -- didn't feel like dealing with the randomness of the layouts anymore haha I figure with the Buy 3, Get 1 Free promotion at GameStop, I could've done A LOT worse on money spent!

I found these at my local HT, and decided to buy two of them, using my 30% off coupon. Would never pay their ridiculous full price on them. Unfortunately my bad luck really shined bright, because I ended up getting the one I wanted the absolute least, Vulture. My gut was telling me I was gonna get stuck with him no matter what I did. To make matters worse, his head was turned backwards and it is also very dirty. It looked like someone used it to wipe up oil from underneath their car. The other one I got was Kraven, the one I wanted 3rd or 4th least. At least he's a 1/24, but there are several 1/12s I would of rather pulled. Kraven has a drop of black paint on his forehead. The QC on these is horrendous. Definitely walked out of the mall regretting my purchase. I really wish they had set layouts for these. Experiences like this make me feel like giving up on MMs. The only bright spot was that I found the Pop I was looking for at the mall, the regular Captain Salazar, which I found at FYE.

I might try my luck again if my Walmart gets these, since they would be cheaper, but I'll probably get stuck with another Vulture. I don't have much hope that I'll ever find Black Cat or Spider-Gwen, and I've pretty much given up on Silk, my top want. BC and SG being 2nd and 3rd. I might cave and buy them from eBay someday, but right now I'm leaning towards not doing that. I'd be concerned about how they would be shipped.

It's possible that it was just a bad batch. I hope that's the case. I hate to see widespread issues with a new release of MMs. I'm glad to hear yours have turned out much better. Thank you on the Black Cat. Just pm me what kind of price you'd be looking for on her, if you happen to pull one.

I watched a few unboxings on YouTube last night, and I noticed the backward head thing being a widespread issue, especially on Vulture, but the paint did look flawless on everything. One person had an issue with their Vulture standing up. Mine luckily stands on his own, but is crooked. Mostly everything was random, but I did notice that Spider-Gwen is almost always in the bottom front right spot. That is one of the spots I grabbed from, but unfortunately she wasn't in that spot in my case. The 2nd one I grabbed came from the middle top right spot. It was a full case. In the videos I also noticed that the duplicates are always in the back, either on the top or bottom row, but more commonly the bottom. I believe it was always Spidey or Vulture.

No problem. We will probably get lots of duplicates. We try and complete sets if we get into a series. Usually bobble head minis aren't that great. But I love this set. So no trouble. I'll let you know.

I lucked out and got one yesterday, and he is about 2g heavier than Venom. However, I have also seen there is a +/- 1g difference on some of these (depending on the fastener in the head), so that might be why some people are reporting him as lighter.

Rhino, Venom, and Lizard all are relatively close to the same weight. So it could be any of those.

I went a little hard core with the Gamestop buy 3 get 1 and was lucky to keep finding full boxes. Picked up a Rhino and Kraven (yay lucky hand with Kraven) and an extra Venom and Doc Oc. Down to needing only Silk until the exclusives come around.

So frustrating, especially when most stores only get 1-2 boxes in ever (if any come at all). I'm hoping they will be online where I can purchase multiple cases (hopefully a case and not random assortments) and try to sell/trade off the rest.

I ended up getting 8 of these during the Gamestop B3G1 sale (along with a full set of the Batman Vintage). I got a Sandman, the 1/6, 1/8, and the rest 1/12s. At least I didn't get any dupes. They still had the other 4 when I checked the other day, so I may go 1 by 1 at full price trying to hit that 1/36 slot.

I do have a question for people: Has anyone seen a Sandman and Kraven in the same box? Or a Spider-Woman and a second Doc Ock? I haven't seen any evidence anywhere of people getting these together. I am trying to figure out if there are two "slots" for the 1/24s, each with one of two figures, or if you could get any two of the four 1/24s together in a case (the fourth 1/24 being a second Doc Ock). If it's the former, that could be helpful in some circumstances.

Also, which figures are replaced in the Walmart case?

Nope -- Target, too. An unmasked Peter Parker, a glow-in the-dark of the black suit (I think) and not sure on the third one. Popcultcha has a picture of the box.
