It is an 18" laminated pine circle that is 3/4" thick that you can buy at any Orchard Supply Hardware. PM me and I'll send you pics and ideas. Let me know if you have questions! Everyone should have a cool OOB funko display.

I really like that display. I apologize for asking again if already asked, but how did you make this?

So many inspirational and innovative displays. The garage door is genius! Please tell me it can't be opened by accident, yikes! Got me thinking about how to get creative with not much space and so many POP!s. Thanks for sharing these!

Thank you for yours (and others for theirs) compliments on the various displays.

And yes--you better believe it...that I've made sure that the garage door cannot be opened accidentally. Could you imagine the screaming and the mess! You'd all probably be able to hear the shrieking and crying from where you are in your respective states; or at least you'd probably hear of it, likely on the news--"A Texas man goes off the deep end after he looses his Star Wars Funko Pop! collectibles! The full story at 6".

Really looking forward to bringing that particular display room together to share with my fellow funatics. It's exciting to have something envisioned in one's mind; but like many of you it's frustrating as well in that we can't necessarily make what we've imagined happened right away. (I know--the process ends up being part of the fun too).

There are some really great people on this board. If I may be so bold as to represent the boys and wish our funatic mothers a Happy Mother's Day! :flower:

Those shelves are nice. That blue color really pops (I know, a pun) and stands out against the white background. Really adds a splash of color that one could coordinate with the rest of the room. That set up looks exciting!

That's hysterical. I'm in California, I bet we would hear the screaming. I bet you have sealed the garage door shut and took away any electrical currents that may THINK about opening the door. I'm new here, so thanks for the first reply! Looking forward to contributing more and being a part of it.

Awesome Freddys. My son is super excited for SDCC. I just came across a journal he wrote for school detailing how he loves to get exclusive Pops, and his favorite are the Freddys.."usually with orange hair, freckles, and a crown on his head" CUTE!

Inspired by many of your posts to post pics of a couple collection areas I've been working on (Popsaysyee's post this morning reviewing some of the great, early funatic collectors was really inspirational). My rooms are nowhere near complete, but thought I'd share some pics anyway. The Collection(s) is not limited to Funko only...there are Bowen, Sideshow, XM, and other pieces as well.

My garage--which is being converted into my "Man Cave" (my exercise-workroom). The garage door has inner "shelves" that are convenient for putting Pops! (I apologize that some of the pictures are a bit blurry). The sheer size of the two-car garage door has made it ideal for accommodating my large volume of Star Wars Pops! (with room to spare)

This is my "XM Case" on the opposite wall. Unfortunately, there's a lot of color washout in the pics from ambient and background sun :(

Mike's (TriFeckta's) post on 'Who else collects Hot Toys', motivated me to take a closer look at Hot Toys. So I picked up this Ultron Mark I--which I think fits pretty well into my pre-existing scheme. Thanks for sharing the idea, Mike :)

Of course, I've been able to pick up protos and Pops! from many of you on this board (too many funatics to name). Some of you may especially recognize the protos. Thanks for being willing to trade, sell, and generally interact. You really help make collecting fun :) .

Met Mark Hamill at this year's Dallas Fan Expo "Comic Con". He was really nice, and I got a few things signed by him--including one of two Hallmark Death Star Christmas ornaments (the unsigned one is seen as a "lamp topper" in one or two of the previous pictures; the signed one has not been included in any of these pictures). He also did a good job of signing this Rancor prototype that I got from Fugitive toys :). It's hard to tell from the blurry pics, but a couple of Leia Pops! pictured earlier were signed by Carrie Fisher and JSA authenticated.

Image

Custom Pacquiao, Mayweather, and a few athlete Pops!--including one of the greatest and most energetic athletes ever--Taz!

Sideshow Collectibles Legendary Scale Obi-Wan. Can't tell so much from the pictures, but this is a really big figure.

Image

My study is so messy and dusty (you can see this in the various pics)...so I'm avoiding showing the messy rooms themselves for now, and concentrating on the collectibles. This is my "Bowen Balcony"--with predominantly Randy Bowen collectibles.

Obviously not a purist, I have a low threshold for crossing and matching up different collectible lines. Here is Bowen's comic-version Dormammu with Funko's movie version Dr. Strange and Ancient One prototypes. I think the set and combination looks pretty darn good :)

Bowen's rendition of the earlier Guardians of the Galaxy. I only recently obtained the set, and am really impressed with it!

Finally, this is an updated pic of a Captain American space that I'm still working on. I was able to get some of the items signed by Stan Lee--including the back of the larger figure's shield. Still trying to figure exactly what I want this area to look like, so it'll probably be different later.

Still working on these and other display areas. Thanks to all who comment and post. Like so many others have said, your comments and pics of your various collectibles and collections have really inspired and motivated me and my family :) to funatic heights--as wonderfully and sadly there are a lot more Pops! and protos that I have to get organized. Of all problems I have to deal with, it's one I don't mind having to deal with. Thanks again to you other collectors who share and participate on the board :freddy3:

Those statues tho...

I finally got my collection moved to a separate room this past weekend and put up more shelves around the room for future expansion. I think it turned out pretty good.
