Spider-Man Classics Mystery Minis!

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

They look great! Hopefully I can start getting my hands on these soon. I've been really slacking off on mystery minis lately.

Has anyone else bought these from HT yet? $8.90 for one mini? Man they've raised the prices on these.

Saw a full case of these yesterday at Hot Topic and couldn't pull the trigger. Not only is $8.90 absurd but I'm still salty that they obviously held off shipments during Hot Cash. The Monday after it was over they had a complete restock of Rick & Morty Mystery Minis (which I had been on the hunt for) and a bunch of Pops. I'll get over it soon I'm sure - but it isn't sitting right with me just yet.

I've seen them at that price for at least the last six to eight months. But they usually have a b1g130% deal going on, so it makes them 7.57 each - still kind of high, but to me not unexpected from there. I mean, they're not known for deals or great prices outside of hot cash - their pops are regularly 12.50 (including commons), so for their minis to be marked up makes sense to me.

Yeah, I was just surprised that it was marked up so high. Especially considering I can get minis at work for $3 cheaper, and that's without my personal discount. Except that we don't get minis as often as HT seems to, at least in my store. Makes hunting a little more difficult and I've all but cut off my mini collecting.

True, I was really surprised to find out their PSH were 5.90 each. I mean, with the same promos, they end up being 5.01, but I think 3.99 is a little high priced for them to begin with.

$2.99 would've been a good price, I think. But they're $3.95 at BN. This is cheap compared to some other similarly sized items. Those Unicorno things are almost $10 too. But this is a thread about Spider-Man not the weird prices of mini collectibles lol

Hopefully this series shows up at work, though I haven't had much luck with mini series I want being within easy grasp for me.

There's no reason to buy the common case at HT if you can help it. Buy it online for cheaper and save yourself some money. Even with my $20 off $50 coupon I spent more than I could have elsewhere.

Just seen the Target exclusive case on Popcultcha. Only had shots of the case not figures but there's an unmasked Spider-Man and a black suit with green emblem Spider-Man as well. No sign of the third exclusive figure though.

Hot Topic had buy one, get one 30% off, so I tried the top level, middle row, and pulled Doc Oc and Green Goblin.

Well... I bought a case at GameStop and pulled a 1/72 Silk and then the 1/24 Spider-Woman and 1/24 Kraven. I tried another GameStop and bought nine of 12 boxes there, and while I unfortunately pulled 2 Spider-Mans and 2 Doc Oc's, I also managed the 1/72 Lizard and 1/24 Sandman. I knew the remaining boxes were Venom, Scarlet Spider and Green Goblin so I didn't bother. All I'm missing for the base set are Rhino and Miles Morales, which I'm probably just going to get on eBay or try trading for. I impatiently purchased a Silk on eBay earlier in the day, thinking I'd never pull her in a regular case. So yeah, I have two Silk's now LOL Might be willing to trade, but I kind of want to see what the ratios are of the Walmart and Target exclusives before deciding for sure.

I don't think I'm entirely sold on the SW style but I'm going to be trying to pick them up for sure. Also this series. I'm gonna try and be out tomorrow so maybe I can find a couple of boxes somewhere. [-o<

We found ours at gs and think geek. I was more worried about the quality for sw because I've never loved the bobble head lines. But after these I'm sold.

Good to know. Except I don't think there's a Think Geek anywhere near me? But plenty of GS lol and yeah I don't have many bobblehead minis but most of the ones I've gotten were pretty okay. I think quality is generally hit or miss with all the minis but I understand the apprehension here.

Thanks for all the info that has been shared. It's unfortunate that these appear to be completely random. It's even worse to hear that Silk is 1/72. She's probably my favorite MM in this set. Looks like my chances of getting her are slim to none. I will likely still buy a couple boxes, and just hope for the best that I get one of the ones that I want. Silk, Black Cat, and Spider-Gwen are my top three wants. I suppose my odds are the same if I just buy the two boxes on the top front as I would if I grabbed from two random or pre-selected spots. At least I don't have to worry if I come across a box that's already picked over.

Yes, and he extends from side to side in the box. You'll be able to feel the arms touching each side. Lizard is decently heavy, too, but I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem if you pulled him on accident LOL
