Don't think of that as a bad thing. Last year they did that for the Indiana Jones. Cancelled mine and several others orders but gave us a $10.00 coupon. Then when they got them in again they emailed us and we were able to buy them with the $10.00 discount before they went on sale to anyone else. So here's hoping for all the people that had their order cancelled the same thing will happen :freddy3:

I had completely forgotten about that! Well hey, maybe there will be a silver lining this time too! :)

Sadly :( there was to be no reward for me after nervously waiting in line for 2.5 hours and getting within a distance of approx 8 people in line front of me from D-Street's front door where we were all informed by the store manager standing out in front that she was very sorry it..."The Jolly Roger had officially just sold out" leaving a large portion of us still standing there in line all looking a bit stunned as we were turned away literally inches from the door after we had been patiently waiting in line since 7:00 am (which btw, was falsely reported as being the earliest time that anyone was supppsed to be permitted to line up at D-Street.

According to the D-Street manager they "discourage people from lining up prior to 7:00 am but that officially they cannot prevent you from doing so which was most certainly the case today as people were obviously lined up much earlier than 7:00am because when I got there at exactly 7:00 am the line out front of D-Street was already 200 people deep if not more( keeping in mind that you also have to clear a security checkpoint/metal detector before you can even enter Downtown Disney where D-Street located).

Those who managed to get into the line just prior to 7:00 am all got at least one Jolly Roger for their wait and those of us who lined up at 7:00 or later did not.

Before I tucked my broken tail between my legs and finally left to drive back home sad and empty handed, I first took a minute and spoke with the D-Street manager directly who informed me that this afternoon at some point she was expecting a small restock at "an undisclosed location" at some point during the day but couldn't say where or what time? (the impression that she gave me was that there would definitely be a small supply available later that day which would most likely be available inside of the park).

She assured those of us who were in line and who were turned away at the door when the final Jolly Roger was sold that there would for sure be a restock next Friday at D-Street, Disneyland park and WDW. She did not know if they would also be available through the Disney store when asked.

Despite the outcome I still had a good time meeting my fellow funatics as well as hardcore Disney fans and for the most part everyone in line that I spoke with was polite and tried their best to handle their frustration and disappointment with grace.

It was very unfortunate for those of us who took the time to travel to Disneyland, paid for parking ($12.00 per hr BTW!) and then waited over 2 hours in line only to realize that once again the demand for these items were much higher than the supply provided and hopefully Funko makes better efforts in th future to provide a greater supply to meet the demand for these types of special releases.

This of course was a small win for those flippers waiting in line who although they didn't get the 10 each that they had all expected to get, did at least manage to walk away with 2 figures each while the actual collectors who like myself and a few of those left in line ahead of me left empty handed but were even willing to all selflessly agree with each other while waiting in line to only buy 1 each instead of the limit of 2 each just so that the rest of us still in line could perhaps stretch the supply just a little bit further in an effort to help out our fellow funatics who including ourselves as it turned out still left with empty hands after wating in line for hours.

I can't say that I'm not a little dissapointed in both Funko and Disney for the what is now the 4th time that they have had a Disney parks exclusive and have failed to provide the consumer with an adequate amount of stock for what was obviously going to be an item in high demand, but as it is with these things "you win some, you lose some."

So my congratulations to those dedicated funatics who got up just a little bit earlier than the rest of us. You earned your pirate's treasure fair and square matey's, I just wish I had been one of the lucky ones this time too.

That was terrible, you'd think the manager would try to put you on a call list when they restock or something but I guess I also don't know how much authority they have to do so.

With these fiascos I'm really curious how they happen and whether it's fault on funkos end or Disney's end that leads to shortages. When supply is significantly lower than demand I just don't see what party benefits at all and you'd think they would be better able to forecast demand at this point.

So the odds of any being there Sunday are probably slim to none, huh? Would love to pick some up for Funatics here but can't go until then.

Wow congrats to all who dared standing in line over night at downtown Disney . I'm sure it paid off at the end . Don't fear my understanding is that they will restock . I myself didn't obtain but remain hopeful I will soon .

I actually asked the manager if they were going to issue us rainchecks or put us in a call list and she said "Unfortunately we don't..."

That's awesome, but a frustrating situation for the Funatics that went crazy early and waited hours this morning!

I am extremely grateful for the re-posting of the Instagram image and info about the afternoon/evening restock. After my disappointing experience that morning I was fortunate enough at the time to be able to return to D-Street this evening and I arrived at D-Town Disney parking lot around 7:00 pm and was able to get the Jolly Roger Pop! without any hassle or even waiting in a huge line. Unlike the 4.5 hours in line that I had waited that same morning. In fact there was only about 8-10 people in front of me when I finally got to the store at about 7:15.
So THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Yay I am glad you were able to go back and get the pop. I was there this morning, we arrived at 4:08am the parking stub said. When we got there perhaps 26 were in front of us. By the time they handed out wristbands at 5:15 we were #37 and 38 that's how many people joined the groups of flippers at the front of the line. I was very happy they handed out wristbands.
I Really really wish Funko would do this at Funko south during SDCC. It sure makes it flow better when you don't have large groups of people joining the one guy that waited all night and they show up 10 minutes before opening.
The security booth and Disney made th decision to walk us they security and let the line begin as it had gotten way to long and was going to block the parking lot. All was done for safely and they were, aoooooo awesome and orderly. Yes they said they might let us buy 10 each and that made the flippers happy. I was very glad they changed it to 2 per person so way more of those morning people got to buy them. This wasn't the most organized. Have ever seen on a release day and I made sure and thank the workers and security and Disney handlers at dstreet for this. Very awesome indeed. Yes,some left empty handed, but way more left with a pop then if they had not been so organized. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/
They call me Kelly :smt031
OOB deals I love to find.

Disney is my first love whether it be pops, Dorbz , minis or dolls.

Pops and Dorbz -2000+~~~ I have lost count actually
Minis-450+
Protos-2 Dug with cone from my first fundays in 2016
And
Baby Groot with bomb from 2018

Sorry - should have specified. Californa's Downtown Disney, D-Street. People posted that they sold old shortly before 10 am. Hopefully they'll continue to restock throughout the weekend for those still in need.

-The Funko Fiend

Congrats Shalee04 on persevering and taking home your Jolly Roger!

Was at Disneyland today and no Jolly Roger at D Street, at least at 10:30 when I was there. Bummer, was hoping to help out some folks.

Not the rumor you're hoping for, but I did hear that the restock they put out on Friday evening/Saturday morning were from the stock they were supposed to put out this Friday..I don't know if that was specifically the D street stock though and if that will affect the stock the in-park stores should be getting.

Not sure if this was posted in here already, but does anyone have SKU's/DPCI's for the Walmart and Target Cars Pops?

I've heard murmurs of that...hoping that's not the case!

Wish I had plans to swing by Magic Kingdom this upcoming weekend to see if I could help any funatics out but hitting up Animal Kingdom since I want to get there once more before Pandora opens and it's crowded like crazy the next few months!
