Thanos XL - FPi cancellation

Just wondering if there are others in the same boat who have had this on preorder since NYCC and had a cancellation email today?

Oh wow, really? I didn't have a Thanos ordered but I ordered the 4 WG Batman Pops from them in November, they sent 3 in February and just sent an email update today on the 4th so I guess they're catching up on updating people on old outstanding orders.

As more people find out their Thanos was canceled I bet the eBay price will skyrocket.

Yeah, mostly frustrating that's it's over 6 months of waiting. At least if they'd owned up about over selling right at the beginning people could've at least tried to sort something at a reasonable price. Now as you say the cost of Thanos will likely be pushed even higher, especially with the new GotG movie out.

Funny thing is they've blamed it on their supplier, who's now owned by Funko. Hopefully Funko can sort UT out and allow some other UK/European company's a chance at these exclusives.

I was actually in a local store right after NYCC and the owner told me they got offered none of the limited exclusives by UT. According to him, there were approx 500 Qui Gon's sent here and all of them ended up with FPi, around 170-180 online, 1 case per store and what was left sold at some local comic-cons for £100+.

That sucks, i'm honestly surprised though it's been this long since NYCC that they only started sending out cancellations....

They have to wait past 6 months to make sure you can't open any cases in Paypal.
