Not yet. I'm hoping soon because I'm picking up the entire box.

This whole Qui debacle is just the most recent example of why I personally don't think Target should be handling any Funko exclusives. Between the release of Zur, Rick and Summer ECCC pack, 10" Groot, and now Qui Gon it is obvious corporate doesn't care. As a team member this is sad and I wish i had an excuse for people who are mad, but honestly the team members are left in the dark about these things. There is no communication about proper street date procedure being shared with the stores and only once they saw Qui Gon Pops leaking online did they send out an internal memo asking to have product removed from the floor followed by the street date madness. We weren't even informed that the street date had been lifted until it spread like wildfire on IG and still today there was no acknowledgement of whether we should sell them. This is most likely why some stores are still holding them back for Monday.
I would like to say these problems are specific to Funko products but they aren't. Sometimes they'll street date items that make no sense like toddler toys, add street dates weeks after a product has been released and already been sitting on the floor, or just a general lack of communication regarding big events or releases. Add that on top of team members who don't know the difference between street date or set date and who can't properly limit 1 per guest of a high demand item and its just a mess. After so many botched releases I hope Funko lays out some demands for future releases. The sad part is that they probably won't because Funko needs Target more than Target needs Funko so they're probably not in the position to say much. As long as Target funnels them money for exclusives they'll just take the heat from collectors who are being screwed over by their retail partners.

Thanks for the insight Jeff. It always seems to be like 1/2 of the employees are teenagers who don't care and 1/4 are people who have been there too long, who don't care.
I find it really weird though that stores can set their own sell dates... it really makes it awkward when you get transferred to another Target that is supposed to have what you want, but won't sell it to you (IE 10" Groot).
One small thing I have noticed across all the Targets I've visited, they aren't restocking the Entertainment area where Funko sits... is this the same where you are? It's probably just laziness or trying to manage their overflow in general, but it's always depressing walking up to just a bunch of Suicide Squad rejects
Shinfo13 wrote:Yeah it seems the entertainment section of Funko is getting an overhaul soon but nothing set in stone that I can see in my system. Hence why a bunch of lines are now $5 to clear out those SS rejects.. There was talk earlier of stuff like Stranger Things and Punisher being new lines we'll get but I remain skeptical because online stock does not necessarily reflect what we get in store. I can confirm that chases have been spotted though (I found a Star Lord chase at another store on a new GOTG2 shipper that sets this upcoming week).

Dang, good to know. I've already got the ST chases, but know a bunch of Funatics who need em still.

The weird part is that I'm convinced stores like Target and Walmart get unique casepacks of Pops with no chases. My store has received cases of Winnie the Pooh and DC Bombshells with no chases. I also found a case of Stranger Things at Walmart not long ago without a chase. Maybe just super unlucky odds, but perhaps Funko purposefully packs them different for big retailers. The Star Lord chases could be a fluke since they are big shippers and not case packs. happened with the Horror Pops where some stores got chases in on those shippers with the DOTD Sally Pops. I don't really know...
Funkopoplover91 wrote:I think it is just random. Many people have found Chases recently at Walmart. Also, I remember when many targets had the Dorbz Chase for Civil War.
It looks like the set for the GOTG is 20. Seems most stores are getting 20 in, I noticed a couple are showing 19... so I'm wondering if a team member took the chase out? I see like 10 stores with 20/20, one says 20/19, another 19/19 and one 8/8

I ran the dpci on brickseek and they said they're on hand but none are saleable. Can anyone tell me what that means? I will be checking my local target tomorrow since it's the day after the street date supposedly. There's also a Target about 70 miles away that I will be calling to see if they have one. I just want one! I'm going to a convention this weekend and hopefully I can get Stan Lee to sign it for me if I find one. I ordered a pair from one of the ebay auctions and they arrived on Saturday....damaged. And the seller had the nerve to tell me I was the one scamming him saying that the pictures I took of the items and sent him, were not of the items he sold me. Now I have to start this claim process with Ebay about this joker. I just want to be able to find one 10 in Groot to take with me to the expo! Hope everyone is finding their Pops they want. I'll also be checking my store for the Qui Gon Jinn pop too!

The On Hand count is semi-reliable. Not the most accurate but its a solid indicator that they may have stock still if the count is higher than 2 or 3 on hand. The saleable quantity seems to be nonsense and never means anything. Hope this helps and hope you're able to find a Groot or Qui tomorrow
Funkopoplover91 wrote:Well, I did some research today... it looks like Funko shipped every shipper with a Chase - or were supposed to. But it is weird you say you found one without it?
I went with 2 friends today and we hit up three different Targets and every single one had a Chase inside. So I'm guessing it is supposed to be that way. Seems very unlikely to find 3 targets in a row this way. Also, after I told a couple other people, they went out looking and found some further away in my town.

The Star Lord tees shouldn't be clearance. I saw some people got them a little cheaper because they don't scan in our system for some reason so some stores marked them "As-Is" for like $10. I saw them come into my store and had to print new barcodes and stick them on each box because I had the dpci # already. Its an issue that we had with the Batman Beyond and Batgirl exclusive shirts too.

It is hit and miss. I know someone who got a whole shipper pulled and found 3 Star Lord chases on it. Some of us got lucky with 1 or 2 on a shipper and some have had none. No real pattern to it.

My store got 1 case of 6 but no chase of Professor Poopypants. Interested to hear if anyone finds that chase at Target.
