Not sure if we will see more aliens just because the original lines kinda failed. Love the idea because I could definitely use use a Zygon and a Sontaran Pop but it seems like the Doctors and their companions are more popular by a landslide which sucks

Personally, I just take 1 pop of each doctor (+ the spacesuit team) and I am not very interested by the companions. Only Rory seems cool (and maybe one day River in spacesuit?).

I would love a river in White Space suit. They have so many options its just will the sell I feel like. Doctor Who is one of my favorite all time shows and no matter what they put out I will always collect. I wouldn't even be opposed to derby or minis. I'd love to see some kind of Master two-pack. Either with Sir Derek Jacobi's Master and John Simm, or John Simm and Michelle Gomez. Classic Masters would be great as well, but I'm going with these actors (and actress) specifically for the gimmick of a two-pack.

Also, I've said this about a dozen times, but I still really want Pop!s of the first three Doctors. I'd also love one of the 5th Doctor, as he was my recently deceased great grandmother's favorite Doctor. Apparently she watched the show a long time ago -- long before I was born.

I want Pop!s of every Doctor, but these are my highlights. Really hope we get some news soon!

I am with you all on your wants and needs of the DW franchise. however funko is only going to make what sells. And we all know the DW line has seen its fair share of trouble. To the point that they were considering cancelling. That is why you mostly see NuWho for their selections. Most fans and casual fans these day only know from 9 on and some not even that. So just be ready for your 10,11,12 variants with new companions and maybe one or two bones throne to the old guard.

Yeah I'm in that camp too tbh. I think some of Doctor Who's aliens would translate really weirdly, yet amazingly into Pop form. For instance Sontarons, Silurians, Slitheen, Autons, Ood, Vashta Narada, Krillitanes, Clock Word Droids, The Empty Child, Zygons, Ice Warriors, Judoon and hey....maybe a six inch Were Wolf, or 6 inch Vespiform. Although that last one would just be a giant wasp, but who knows? Sorry for the long list, but those are just off the top of my head

I know the DW line almost suffered the worst fate of a Pop line, but I don't think it's unreasonable for all Classic Doctors to be manufactured. At least one of each made in their most iconic outfit. Even if nothing else comes out of the classic era, I think Whovians everywhere would be happy with all 13 (soon to be 14) Doctors in Pop form.

Next year would be a great year for that to happen. You know, 35th anniversary and all. wink, wink, nudge nudge

While variant-heavy releases are possible (maybe even likely) from upcoming waves, I don't think that means we're not going to get more classic Doctor Who stuff. I just feel like there's no good indication to believe that, especially when you consider most of wave 2 -- the wave that fumbled the most -- hardly had classic Doctor Who stuff at all.

Wave 1 also contained more iconic characters, like the Daleks, a Weeping Angel, and of course, the Doctors. It was hard to top that first wave with that in mind. I personally think each Doctor would sell successfully, given the fact everybody has "their Doctor" -- plus, people tend to be completionists when it comes to Doctor incarnations.

So, in a nutshell... more Doctors!

That would be pretty awesome, and I never realized how similar he looks to the 1st Doctor. That would be pretty neat and I'd be very happy for them to do that. I wish we had more crossovers with previous Doctors, even if it were CGI or quick glimpses here and there, even if they don't talk.

Since I've been following the twitter Q&A since Summer 2015, I can confirm that the first confirmation of a new Doctor Who wave was in the middle of January 2017. I even have the screenshot of the tweet to prove it. I really though that they would be out by this summer.
