what in the hell is a "Funko shop Wednesday" and why is everyone expected to know? stupid.

It's been happening for well over a year now. Exclusive Pops are put up on the shop every Wednesday at either 10:30 or 11 eastern time, and they tend to sell out pretty quick. The Pops put up at the shop tend to be part of lines that don't sell well in the common market (like Hannah-Barbera or, in this case, SP). The Shop isn't a secret. There are multiple boards on this site talking about it, and every Facebook and Reddit page about Funko hypes it up every week, as well.

NO ONE expected these to sell out that quickly. Two-packs like these tend to stay around for longer due to the high price point and the niche characters. It's unfortunate that so many SP fans will continue to go without, but Brian has promised many more SP Pops through the Shop in the future! Now you're aware of it and can check every Wednesday morning.

For everyone outside of the US, I 100% understand your complaints. I think those are justified, and Funko really should work on fixing their exclusivity for other countries. But for American collectors, this is the drill every Wednesday.

You're right there are a lot of helpful people here on the forum and I've been fortunate to have some of those people help me. Equally where I can I've helped others and shipped a number of the UK Disney exclusives to other board members.

However I disagree with you assumption that complaining here isn't the right thing to do. We all know these boards are read by Funko employees, so surely feedback is something they'll want to hear, provided it's done it a constructive way. Nobody has made demands from Funko expecting increased limits or whatever, all that those of us internationals have asked for is the opportunity to purchase these items and franky I don't feel that's too much to ask.

If I had the option to purchase it directly or elsewhere and I missed out for some reason, fair enough, that's the nature of the beast. However, we have no choice but to either rely on someone's generosity or pay eBay prices.

Honestly, all Funko would have to do is state the 2 pack is a shop exclusive but the pops will be available separately at some point and I'd be fine with it.

I totally agree that it'd be great if Funko was accessible to the whole world, and I hope our fellow collectors can get their hands on things faster, cheaper and easier in the future.

Not everyone is expected to know...but if you've been on this forum for a while and checked periodically, chances are a thread or two have popped up about the Funko-Shop.

Agreed and I've certainly seen it, not just here but on social media as well, much of it unwarranted.

Hey at least that's 2 things we agree on

will be interesting to see what's in store with UT now under the Funko umbrella.

i mean... i’ll just throw this out there...

the fact that the yogi bear set is LE 5000 and the scott pilgrim ones were LE 2500 is proof that funko is tone deaf as to the wants of their customers, and doesn’t even understand who they’re selling pops to at this point.

Well...that kind of sucks that Envy is pretty much sold out and likely won't return then.

There is probably a good chance she is re-released as a common or maybe a Con exclusive. This line has gained a lot of momentum since the release at NYCC so they will probably add to it. I mean we could still get the Vegan police or the 7 Deadly Exs

I'm not that fussed about glow pops unless they're green or white or sometimes blue, usually, cause the other colours don't tend to glow as well. I'd rather have metallic pops all the way cause i have a stupid weakness for them lol

While they may be inflated right now in terms of price I still think they will drop. Most of the line declined quick to a decent price point so maybe give it until right before SDCC or right after to get them at a decent price. I didn't get them either so heres hoping

There was a huge backlash after the whole NYCC Qui-Gon incident, and now we're getting a (hopefully) much easier to find variant of him for the Star Wars Celebration. Maybe something similar will happen with Envy?

Either way, the amount of passion and love for Pops based on this franchise is warming my heart lol

I know the commons weren't originally well-received by a lot of people, and didn't sell well, and that's why the line is now limited to exclusives. However, SP fans are speaking loud and clear...hopeful loud and clear enough for Funko to see the demand resurging, and maybe a second wave of commons and variants will come of it? We just need to keep demanding it! :cheers:

Damn. Missed the two set. Just bought knives last night. I don't think I have ever seen ramona though. Seen scott and knives a lot which always seemed odd to me. Anyone know where to find her? Just have one place to check next week. Might luck out there.

Yeah my local comic book shop is where I was going to look. Found knives at toysrus. Looked at barnes and nobles and they don't have her in stock or available in store which surprised me.
