Absolutely agree ... and then there are the other parks too.
True, I just feel like the Disneyland/Magic Kingdom style parks are more widespread around the globe. For historical purposes it would be cool to have a POP of the Yeti from the Matterhorn but sadly I have yet to visit Disneyland/California Adventure so it wouldn't have as much significance to me as someone who lives and breathes Disneyland. That being said I do get a lot of mileage out of my WDW Annual Pass so I know if there was ever a replica of the "giant golfball" aka Spaceship Earth from Epcot in one of the boxes I would be all over it!
I completely agree about the castle parks being the most marketable, and I think the only second park that is as widely recognized as them is EPCOT, but Personally I honestly don't want to see anything in the box unless it is represented on both coasts, whether current, or in the past (brings Toad and the Country Bears into the mix)

I completely understand, which is why I think using Pirates is a great idea because most parks have a Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I can see them making "it's a small world" as well as a few other ride themed items that both coasts share.
Unless they did something where they had an item that was specific to Disneyland and only had it in boxes going to the West Coast and something for WDW and it goes to the East Coast but I feel like it would just be easier for those items to be made into a Disneyland exclusive and a separate WDW exclusive.

I don't think it matters what park you're close to, I'm closer to Walt Disney World and I'd be just as happy with a Disneyland character/ride as I would a Walt Disney World one. If Funko pulls out a character from Hong Kong Disneyland's Mystic Manor or Tokyo DisneySea's Journey to the Center of the Earth I'd be thrilled, and I'll probably never get to either of those.
The character design and stories are strong enough to stand alone.

Knew I had to get the pioneer subscription the moment the box was announced but kept putting it off because I knew it would take a lot of work to afford it. Finally got my subscription this morning!
Call me weird but I got butterflies while ordering it. It felt like Christmas morning when I was on the website. I'm so excited for this box and the gift for pioneers (maybe something related to Walt?
) Can't wait for the spoiler video tomorrow! Gonna be amazing!

Maybe because I was an adult seeing it for the first time I was shocked at some of the content at the songs being allowed at Disney...I don't know but we were both wondering what in the world we had just watched when we exited haha!
Nothing can beat either Henry or Liverlips singing "Blood on the Saddle, blood on the ground" or watching the one and only beauty of all beauties Teddi Berra on her swing descending from the ceiling ... is that sexist or just bearist?

LOL I don't know, I think the Sun Bonnet Trio's song is quite...interesting to say the least for a Disney park!
It would be interesting to see them in POP form though I must say!

Honestly, I can't wait for these to come out in some form ... Country Bear Jamboree goes way back here at Disneyland before it was moved to Disney World ... same thing can be said for the People Mover. Great anticipation here!

PEOPLE MOVER!!!! Oh man I love the People Mover! My heart broke when I found out that it wasn't open in Disneyland anymore and that it was turned into Rocket Rods and now is just sitting there collecting dust.

Re: Disney Subscription Box
It's about to get really intense. Do I look for spoilers, or do I hold my excitement? I'm usually one of the last to get my box, being way over on the East Coast, so I tend to spoil it for myself. I just can't help it. I'm still excited when it comes, though. But I want to know now. I want it in my hands, like yesterday. =oP The next couple of weeks will be brutal just waiting. It usually doesn't ship until the middle of the month, right?

This is a Sub that truly "keeps on giving." I can't wait for the spoilers ... but I know as soon as I see them, I won't be able to wait for the reveals for the next box. The anticipation is reaching critical mass!!!

I finally caved and got the pioneer plan. I tried resisting, but I figured I'd be sad if there were really cool Disney items in upcoming boxes and the founding member gift.

I'm going to try and avoid spoilers, but yeah it's tough, especially since DHL and USPS like to let the boxes (at least for SB) sit in limbo for a day or two.
Julian, do you have that same issue in AZ or do your boxes get to you quickly?

I didn't even think about how long it would take to get to me once it ships being on the East Coast! I'm a bit worried about June now since I'll out of town for almost a whole month visiting family up north and my roommate is going to be gone for a few days towards the end of June as well...here's hoping no one gets any funny ideas.

My last SB box sat for 3 days before they sent it to the USPS who deliverd it the next day, and thats pretty much been my standard, a day or so of just chilling before it moves anywhere once it gets to phx

It would be better if they had a distribution center on the east coast. I live in Texas, and I have received one or two boxes from Dallas. I know it's a bit more work, but it would great for you guys on the east coast, especially for faster shipping!
It will be so worth it though! If you can't wait, it's ok to look at spoilers.
I know myself and I know I will probably see spoilers, at least for the first box!

Just created a post about this.
There are multiple people in my local Facebook group that have confirmed that they paid for it.
If it is verified, I don't think that they would be a pioneer.

They wouldn't be a Pioneer since it's just the first three boxes, I'm upset that I spent $200 for the full year and now people get three months for a discounted price but at least those people won't get some of the special items for becoming a Pioneer. I mentioned in the thread that you created that I just hope there won't be an Exclusive POP just for getting it through Hot Topic because that would really suck. And if there is a HT Exclusive POP in there it better not be Box Specific and still sold in stores because that's really just not cool in my opinion to do that.

Re: Disney Subscription Box
It does suck a little bit, considering it is cheaper and cheaper to ship. But, I'm still getting the end of year statue, and the pioneer stuff, so I guess we can take it with a grain of salt? I doubt it's a joke since so many people have paid for it. It would just be a bad business move. I highly doubt HT will have an exclusive in the box. Maybe they should have waited just a little bit, or maybe it was a mistake that the box did have a flash sale. I mean, HT won't even put their exclusive 2 packs on sale.
I'm still excited about the box, though. It could just mean now more people have access to it! ;3 And probably that spoilers will be earlier than normal. Haha.

This does feel like a slap in the face if it's real.... All the funatics and Disney fans that supported them from the get go all just paid more. If this is real I'm gonna be very disappointed in Funko

So, apparently HT wasn't suppose to have this box? What's not clear is whether or not the orders are going to be honored. That would be rather hard on the people who paid through theirs through the DT page.
Too soon?

Re: Disney Subscription Box
The easiest fix (not the most cost-effective) would be to come up with some sort of additional bonus/reward for those who enrolled prior to April 1, honor the HT buyers, and move forward from there. That at least would make everyone happy I think. I'll be interested to see what the "more news soon" is. The other option would be to cancel the HT orders, but have HT provide some sort of compensation to people for getting their hopes up. Since you can basically order the Disney box until 4/22 no one would be left in the cold on ordering the box (provided they notify everyone quickly enough).

I'm most excited for the top three themes on the map. I'm hoping one of those will be the next box, although I wouldn't be surprised if two of them would be released more toward the end of this year because of the names of the themes.

I saw something on Facebook saying that Hot Topic was going to give the people that had purchased it a $20 gift card in apology, I don't think that they'll be getting the boxes.
Also dang I didn't think any spoilers were out already!

I found the map, but...have no idea what they mean.
. Google didn't help me very much. I must be doing it wrong. I should just wait. I had seen the spoilers on Facebook that someone posted.

Julian, do you have that same issue in AZ or do your boxes get to you quickly?
I'm subscribed to MCC and have gotten the last couple SB and they seem to find their way to me less than a week after spoilers hit. I've been very impressed with how quick the last few boxes have shown up.

Me too, my hope is that the original intent behind #Smeegate was to have it be an April Fools post that, when you clicked "add to cart" would pop up an image of the Pirates Cove sticker that said April Fools, but don't worry, you can still order this through the end of the day with a link to disneytreasures.funko.com... To me that actually would have been a well thought out and clever April Fools joke/ad
My other thought as if it was serious it was only supposed to apply to international customers and no discounts as a way for those customers to be able to purchase the box(es)

Looking at the map, my best guess is that the top left might be the February box, as most subscriber should get it just before Valentines Day, the top center I think will be December, and I would be shocked if the top right isn't the October box. To me the real question is the other 2 on the bottom, I'm fairly certain which attractions/lands will be tied to the top 3, and I have a guess for the bottom right (that which has a song in it that gets stuck in everyone's heads when heard), but I have no clue which land/attraction will be tied to the bottom left, nor whether the bottom right or bottom left will be the June box, though I think it is safe to say one of those 2 is the June box.
I attempted to be as vague as possible for those who don't want to be spoiled. Out of curiosity, when do we think it will be safe to discuss the map in detail with predictions/hopes? Personally I'm suggesting that we wait until the first batch (those who ordered by last night) get their boxes

I have no self control and saw the map but nothing else and I think that it's going to be a good year from the looks of the map! I can definitely see that the middle of the map would be October. I can't wait for any of the rest of the boxes because all of them sound fantastic just from the titles!
