First, there's a POP! bobblehead of Captain Hook's loyal first mate Mr. Smee from Peter Pan

Wait, what?? Smee is a bobble-head? I hope they're mistaken.

Doesn't Marvel own Disney? It could be why they are bobbleheads now, or it could be a licensing for the Disney box.

Haha, that's what I meant. Thanks for clarifying.
If it is a bobblehead, I would think since it's related to the parks then that's why.
Does anyone know if Indiana Jones is a bobblehead?

Indiana Jones isn't a bobblehead. Based on pics Smee isn't a bobblehead. The author got it wrong.

I'm hoping the pins are different in style than the other boxes. Those are a bit plain. I'm just hoping for something cool to go with my other Disney pins

You bring up an interesting point. I wonder how much say Disney has in terms of the tooling for the pins. From the previous subs, it seems like they are all similar. It will be interesting to see if it changes for Disney.

I would love if they did a more Disney pin style pin, if Disney would allow them to do that.

Growing up near Disneyland, both my wife and I have wonderful memories of the rides and characters from Disneyland. It was the "parks" aspect that made the Sub a no-brainer for us. We can't wait for the characters from Country Bear Jamboree to be produced. So many great characters from LiverLips to Trixie that will bring back such great memories.

I'm hoping they will start shipping on April 2nd, and I magically get mine on the 3rd. I'm going to have to put some serious restraint on looking at spoilers. The temptation will be real.

I'm a little bummed there is no shirt in the first box, but I look forward to future boxes, for sure. I'm super excited for the Ridez, and know it's more than worth it.

I'm so excited for this subscription! Even my boyfriend says it was made for me which is why he ordered the year plan for me :) I really do hope the pins are similar to the park pins more so than the other sub boxes and their style. The fact that we get some park exclusives really makes collectors like me who don't get to go to the parks very often (Deep South Texas over here y'all) really really happy! :love4:

Yeah, when you sign up and give them your shirt size it tells you "there is no shirt in this box, but there may be in future boxes". I'm hoping this won't be a trend where the shirts are infrequent items. As much as I like Star Wars, the hat and socks just weren't that great. I could see a hat being an item at some point, as there is a pretty good tradition of Disney parks and hats. As long as the shirts (when they are made) are comparable to some of the best Smuggler's Bounty shirts, I'll be happy :)

I think the shirts just don't work well on shorter women so I have a ton of new pajama shirts but would love for them actually have female fits at some point.

How can this combo be topped ... the inaugural year of arguably the greatest toy combo ever (Disney/Funko); one established over decades and one reaching new heights each year. One that has such endearing characters preserved in our memories spanning decades, and one that produces the adorable toys that bring them to life like none other. I am just glad our family was here at the beginning and can be part of this colossal partnership.

I know what you mean. I cancelled marvel collector corps a few boxes ago. I'm going to pick and choose which MCC boxes I get. I'm definitely getting the GOTG one. So I'm only doing the year membership with star wars and disney.
