GotG2 Pint Size Heroes

Not really sure why some PSH lines get their own thread (like MM do) and some don't, but I thought it might be good to start separate ones for new lines going forward (mods can correct me if needed).

Now that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Pint Size Heroes are hitting Hot Topic and GameStops, here are some pics. A few things of note (in case you didn't know):
-Exclusives are at GameStop and Walgreens.
-Case breakdowns are two sets of 12 in the regular cases and one complete set of 12 plus two each of the three exclusives in the GS case, plus 6 duplicates (both Starlords, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket). Unsure about Walgreens as they haven't appeared.
-The Rocket and Groot in the case window are exactly the same as the regular versions.
-Not only are peepholes back, there are one on each side of the top of the package (maybe making up for MMPR having none).
-The insert inside is a thicker material and is a little less flexible.
-These might be the most detailed to date (Taserface is amazing).
-Once I find my Dorbz Groot, I will pose him next to PSH Rocket. I think the scale might be perfect.

Yes. Thank you for all the info. I was just at GameStop today and they have not received these yet. Hopefully, they get them later this week. I need this entire set. The Groots. Rockets, Nebula, Gamora, and Mantis are my must haves if I can't get the whole set. They are awesome!

The peepholes are back, but they are way closer to the edge than they were. And the way they package them with the insert it's next to impossible to see through it anyway. But in saying this, feeling for these is super easy. Except feeling the different star lords and rockets. The patch on the groot is easy to feel though. Of course the peepholes may had just been further out in the 2 cases I've found at gs.

Found some of these yesterday. I'm not very good at shifting them around with the paper in them, but I did manage to get the GS groot because when I went to fondle that bag the bottom was open and he went flying out Ended up with the regular groot and a rocket. I'm going to need many more of these!

Found these at Gamestop last night. They are not easy to feel around at all. The insert is laminated now, so it's a lot stiffer in the package.

I found these at my local HT on Wednesday and at GS today. At HT I picked up the first package just to look at it, and the bottom was ripped open with the figure hanging out. It was an unmasked Peter Quill. I hate it when people do that. I didn't buy any there since they charge $2 more than GS. At GS I just bought one for now. I would of liked to of bought more, but I already spent way more than I should on Pops and Rock Candy this week. I tried to feel for a Gamora or Mantis, but like someone else said, it's extremely difficult to feel for what you want now with the new insert. I ended up getting a regular Star-lord with mask. Not what I was looking for, but still one of the better characters in the set. Looks very cool, and has a lot of detail for something so small. I will probably buy more in the next month or two. I may have to stop feeling for these and just buy randomly. I think that's what Funko is trying to force us to do. I will probably buy fewer PSH moving forward now due to these changes. I hate not having control over what I get. The good thing about GotG is that I like almost every character in the set, but for most other sets the number of characters I like is very small.

I had pretty good luck feeling around the packages to get the ones I wanted, was only unsure of a few. It helps that most of these GOTG2 ones have pretty distinctive features. There are peepholes but it is now really hard to maneuver the PSH over to it with the new insert. Doesn't help that the PSH is now places in the fold of the insert so it is almost impossible on some to work it out of there. Just feeling makes some of them pretty easy. Yondu's mohawk, Mantis'...whatever those 2 things are on her head, Rocket's tail and ears and Groot's random semi flat head. It does take some work though.

I felt the same way. I wouldn't rule out checking every single bag at Walmart if/when they get them, but I don't like doing that at GS or HT. When I did that for half of a box at HT during the fall I got a very strange look from one of the employees, and at GS today the employee asked if I needed help with something. She couldn't see exactly what I was doing, but she could see I was standing in the same spot for an unusual amount of time. I just checked about half of the box there too. There isn't much room to place all of the bags. At Walmart there is a lot more room. I haven't seen any PSHs at Target yet. I'm not sure why they aren't getting on the bandwagon. I'm sure its only a matter of time.

They are used to it at my Gamestops and Hot Topics - at the Gamestop I went to this week they had them at the front counter next to the register and the since i was the only one in the store the employee was helping me go through them! I just told him which ones I was looking for - he was actually really good at it

I picked up a couple of these the other day and love them. I hadn't taken the PSH plunge until I saw how nice they are in person from the last MCC box. Going to have to buy more of these!

Was at my local HT yesterday picking up some online orders and saw these. I was super stoked as this store has a very high volume and seldom has things like this. Picked up a few. Wasn't sure which stores had the exclusives, but will now be checking Walgreens and GameStop! Love love love PSH , one of my new favorite lines.

I finally found a Walgreens in my city that has a spot for Pint Size Heroes (which is currently filled with the Power Ranger ones) so now at least I know where to stalk for these to come out XD

I agree, it used to bother me and I would wait until no one was looking or until the store was cleared out. Now, I couldn't care less. At least I'm not cutting them open like someone is doing around town. All the Walgreens and gamestop locally have someone cutting them open. Not even using the notch that's already there. They must have a knife cutting into them.

I think the earlier lines are in that massive thread (like the DC and Spider-Man ones), but the newer lines all have their own threads now. Do you collect any of the other lines?
