Sesame Street Herry Monster POP!!

I'm very happy that the Sesame Street line is continuing. I was thinking to myself just the other day, who would be included in a third wave!! I'm going to pester my LCS to order this for me.

i'll get him for my regular set but I agree, he needs to be flocked and being a Specialty Series really minimizes the chances of getting a flocked version.

we're still waiting on a flocked Oscar, Count and Grover fer cryin' out loud

Haha, agreed! But I could see the Funko shop having an exclusive flocked version (please oh please!). I'm missing Cookie Monster and Snuffleupagus flocked versions, and am trying to stay on top of them as they come out!

I don't recognise him either....obviously I was paying too much attention to big bird and Oscar to notice.

I love the look of him, and collect Sesame Street so I will be ordering him as soon as he goes up. Looks great.

Although I love flocked Sesame Street characters, since I have flocked Super Grover, if they never flocked regular Grover, it wouldn't bother me.

I can't wait to add Herry to my collection. Also gives me hope that we may see some more additions to the regular Muppet line through this Specialty Series. Fingers crossed!

When I saw the Pop I had that same reaction- "what character is this because I've never seen it!" But I Googled him and seeing his pics I know who he is now:

He just didn't translate well into Pop form, the round black eyes and strange head shape make it look like a completely different character. Plus I had no idea he wore shorts, I don't remember that at all! Probably because most of the time he was shown from the waist up.

Holy crap. 35 years ago, a young JoshChaos always thought his name was "Hairy Monster". I never knew any different until now.

Ohhhhhhhh! I do know him! You are right that he didn't translate well. But I still like the look of the pop....even if it doesn't look that much like the character. Weird but true! Lol.

He does look much more familiar in the pic, I just really can't remember anything specific with him. He must not have been one of my faves as a kid

So cute! The colour is definitely off. He should be closer to Grover's colour. But I will get him any way.

I'm so excited. I thought the Sesame Street line was over. And now we've got flocked Super Grover and Herry Monster. Awesome!!

I have my fingers crossed that there will be a couple of new characters teased on the back of the box (like with the Max Rebo box). But I won't get my hopes up.

I love Herry Monster! So surprised to see Funko made a pop of him and that the Sesame Street line is still going. I'll pick him up for sure. Hoping we get more Sesame Street/Muppets in the future regardless if they are Specialty Series.

Ones I would want are Telly Monster, Baby Bear, The Two Headed Monster, Zoe, and Abby Cadabby. As far as Muppets go, I'd love a 6 inch Sweetums.

Unfortunately not. I REALLY hope that's coming soon though. I want this character but my SS set is exclusively flocked. I much prefer them that way.
