GameStop Dorbz Update

Talked with GS on why they are the only ones to get Dorbz. She pretty much let me know because I regularly buy the Dorbz up at the store allows her to get more. If a store doesn't sell the Dorbz they have they don't get more in shipments. My local Thinkgeek said the same thing but thankfully they stock way more inventory all around.

Knowing Canada, they'll just refill the store here with unsold Dorbz from another store instead of ordering newer ones.

Picked up PotC Elizabeth even though I didn't preorder her. Thought it was kinda odd for them to get one before the two that I reserved. I don't know what the heck is happening at GS.

Found Elizabeth Swann today. They didn't have any of the others, and apparently the next closest store with them was over 100 miles away. They're doing a store transfer for me though. I think my area (around ten gamestops within 30 min) only got around half a dozen of Elizabeth in total.

YES! well, I am... I was actually about to post a thread in the other section of the forum to see if someone would be willing to purchase and send one my way because all the GS's near me want nothing to do with Dorbz

I have 3 game stops around me and all the dorbz seemed to have stopped coming in. I've been getting them online.

My GameStop told me they will no longer be getting the Jay Garrick Dorbz. Glad I got the Specialty Series version!

I have found that checking Gamestop in smaller towns has been helpful. We picked up Astral Doctor Strange and Unmasked Jason yesterday in Brooks' small hometown. They had a much bigger selection of Funko than the one in our area.

Same here! I will drive 20ish miles to go to a GameStop that nobody goes to. Last time I was there they had 20ish Dorbz with all the older exclusive ones - just waiting for them to go on sale

1. Beam Up Spock exclusive is still in the system.
2. Only one store in my general area got one. (Of course way out of the way and I hate driving)
3. They are in the warehouse (Where's their warehouse???)
4. None were in transit to my fave store.

Hopefully this will be like Elizabeth and just show up. That would be great.

Keep it under your hats people!!!! I live in a smallish town with 3 game stops and I NEVER have a problem finding the new ones. I'd like to keep it that way, thanks!

I got him at think geek yesterday. This is the only mention of him I've seen. Thank God someone has at least heard of him. Is by far my favorite new dorbz. Hands down

As mentioned in another thread, this has been on Gamestops preorder list for awhile (like Elizabeth) but not orderable. Would really be interesting to know when we'll see more Trek.

He is definitely currently at Think Geek. The one by me had about 4-5 today and they've had them since Tuesday or so. I also agree that he is pretty spectacular outside of the box.
