I want a Justice League series. Those would seriously be my favorite DC pops ever.

Re: Coming Soon: Batman the Animated Series Pop!s
Love Joker and Ivy. Robin is pretty great, too. Will definitely pick them up! Not crazy about Harley or Batgirl. Batman himself is a let-down. Not sure the Animated look translated so well with that one. Maybe if they had kept the eyes on the cowl like on the show. And not given him a mouth... He just looks strange to me. Hopefully I'll think differently seeing it in person.
I hope Wave 2 doesn't take a full year. Because UGH. I've all ready waited long enough for Wave 2 of Batman '66 (and I fear we'll never get a proper Wave 2 for that line...those Surf's Up variants were a real bummer).
My dream Batman: the Animated Series Wave 2 Line-up:
Catwoman
Penguin
Two-Face
Riddler
Mad Hatter
Mr. Freeze

That and the jokers hair isn't black, I know there were times when there was a glimmer or sheen of green on the show but typically his hair was shown as black.
Ok. So that's why the joker looked off! I just couldn't put my finger on it!
I just created a very very rough mock up of what the black would have looked like. Mind you, my skills aren't really that good.

And he looks much much much better!!!

Is there any way someone at Funko would look at this and possible change it?
I mean, even the DC Collectibles action figure had the black hair with green highlights:

Disappointed in Joker and harley.
Harley needed to have some kind of accessory. She looks too similar to her other pops. I was hoping a joker fish, or the gigantic punching glove gun. Or a three pack with her hyennas.

Harley needs a mouth, in fact they all need mouths but her especially. she looks exactly like every other Harley pop in that outfit this way.

I hope they honestly fix Joker's hair. Knowing funko though, this has already been green lit and they only thing they seem to do this late is remove detail.
Also, they fixed Harley's picture in official posts.
Anywho, I really hope to see these guys in a Wave 2:
- Mr. Freeze
- Bane
- Riddler(my favorite version of him)
- Scarecrow
- Two Face
- Penguin

Personally, I really wanna see Nightwing and Tim Drake Robin.
His version of the Robin character is my all time favorite.
I agree with others saying that Harley should have come with the laughing fish.
These are the characters I want to see in Wave 2, aside from Robin and Nightwing:
1. Jim Gordon
2. Alfred
3. The Phantasm (and an unmasked one too!)
4. Catwoman
5. Clayface
6. Manbat
In fact, I wouldn't mind them releasing figures to coincide with the the figure released by DC Collectibles!

Stranger things have happened.
They release Dorbz now and place them in the vault before they actually hit shelves. POPs could be next

With this line, unless it is an exclusive...I feel safe to say that these will be everywhere

It's a shame the articulation on that DC animated line is so awful. The legs in particular on the figures make them look terrible in 90% of poses.lordofanime wrote:janos89 wrote:They need to make this version of joker for a Christmas exclusiveThis is literally one of my fav episodes from the series.

Great, more Pops to add to my want list. I've been limiting myself on which lines to pickup, but this is one I almost have to get.

Got to disagree here. Aside from the leg articulation (which could stand a knee cut), I'm really happy with the BTAS figures from DCC. I just bought the Bat-Signal set today, in fact. Can't wait for Harvey Bullock!

Yeah I've been collecting those a lot more. FYE had Penguin, Riddler, and Batgirl on clearance for $10 each. They're beautiful figures. The Man-Bat is my favorite one.

I've got the entire line so far (except for the newly released repainted Batmobile - I bought the first release). Love this series so much. I have thousands of actions figures, but if I had to whittle it down to just one line, I think B:TAS would be the winner...

Yeah I used to have some of the old Kenner figures from the 90s but I threw them out or gave them up a long time ago. So this is like a second chance. Not only that but these are a lot better. The only thing I have issues with is their choices to make some of them from the New Batman Adventures and not the original designs from the Animated Series. Namely the Mr. Freeze. I like the BTAS version soooo much better. And I know most people like the redesign of Scarecrow but I like the original version personally.

That's not the reason to stop collecting them. This same reason can be said about Funko as well.
The Batman animated series line by DC is amazing, but I don't buy every Batman, same as with Funko.
A good line is a good line, regardless of the repeated designs.

I prefer all the B:TAS designs over The New Batman Adventures. But the good news is, DCC plans on making each character in both styles. In San Diego, they announced a Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy in Batman: The Animated Series style, so you're in luck! (They just have shown what the figures look like yet, but they're coming...)

I agree, I said they look great. But when many collectors, myself being one, have a completest approach to collecting, whether it be a series, a character, etc., theres a lot of DC/batmans. Hard to collect much of other series without spending a ton of money and filling up a ton of space, when that line is part of your collection. More power to those that can though. I've had some of the most sought after DC in my collection, but that line wasn't something I wanted to dedicate myself towards, so I got rid of them all.

Brian did confirm we'll be seeing multiple waves, this first wave is just getting the obvious characters out of the way first, I'd imagine. Gonna need to get Batman and Joker.
I still strongly believe the next Legion of Collectors box will have Mr. Freeze in it.

problem with this is that all the future waves (provided they actually do happen) are likely to be full of these obvious characters too. sure we'll always get more Batman but I can't really envision a scenario were we don't also get a bunch of Jokers and Harleys in every wave too
