Got 5 today at my Gamestop, Elvira, Alex, Jaws, Mummy and the Twins. I'm looking for a Jack if anyone has one extra to trade. Will trade Alex for him

Found a fresh case last night but was a little tight on funds so only grabbed two so I grabbed the spots that might have the two I want the most (Freddy and Jason) and ended up with the mummy and the twins. I could do worse! I like the twins. Pretty cool mini!

I just picked up a case form GS, and I can confirm the same layout others have posted. I wasn't able to get the outer, brown shipping box, so I don't know the assortment letter. Here's the layout for my case, in case anyone wants to know.

Congrats on the Freddy! I've definitely seen more of Bateman pulled with only a few Freddys thus far.

Well, the Gamestop employee told me they'd just gotten in a new case and she'd hold it for me... so 20 minutes over I drive, get there, and she already let someone take half the box. Not sure what "saving" means in whatever language she invented...

Plus I was dumb enough to grab a few anyway and ended up with dupes immediately.

I'm handling this minor life setback well, obviously.

Hope I can find these this time. Never have any luck with Hot Topic. They are always cleaned out by the time I get there, especially since there is only one around and it's on the other side of town. Never even saw series 2 there. Hopefully these 3 will be 1/6. Then maybe they will sort of be affordable on Ebay. Fingers crossed.

Are there any other places getting them besides Gamestop? I didn't see any at Target. I'm guessing they'll slowly show up in other stores as time progresses?

I am very excited for Hot Topic, I may buy a full case if one of the exclusives is a 1/36 or worse (hope I don't jinx it...). I'm guessing GitD Slimer is at least a rare since the box says 'LOOK FOR ALL THE RARE VERSIONS!', implying he'll be more than 1/12. I could see Tiffany replacing Elvira and Barbra replacing Adam. Maybe they'll both be 1/6? That would be nice.

Grabbed three at lunch today while I wait for my case to arrive in the mail tomorrow. Took bottom/middle row and bottom/back/left from a new case. Ended up with Slimer, Regan, and Adam. Bottom definitely seems the way to go for the rarer ones.

It's weird that it says delivery in November. I ordered my case from ToyKraze on Monday and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. It was slightly more though, 72.99 with NewCustomer10 discount, no shipping.

Honestly felt kind of bad hitting 3 shops yesterday, but the fever got me. Better than the Arkham wave. Every Gamestop I visited then
had sold the entire case by the time I got there. I'm sure I'll spend the next year picking these up just like the last batch.
Bought three series 2 figures last week at Target and got two I was missing from it. Figure we still have all the usual stores to wait
on for this batch too. Wifey is already rolling her eyes at me.

Everything I want is super common (1/6 or 1/12) so I think I'll just wait for these to be out awhile and pick them up on eBay, I'm sure the prices will plummet over time on the commons.

I got by my local Gamestop today and lo and behold an untouched case! Knowing the mix previously posted I bought the entire bottom layer and the left hand row of the top (so I wouldn't get doubles of the 1/6's). Now they have never mixed a case before I know the owner so I feel pretty confident talking to him that it wasn't mixed. But my assortment fell out different:

Bottom Layer (from back to front)
Left ...............Right
Jaws...........Wolfman
Elvira.........Regan Exorcist
Jack (Shining).Clockwork Orange

My top 3 boxes were Slimer, Jason, Mr. Twisty. I didn't keep their order thinking they would be commons but they were left side top. So the other 3 I left had to have been the other 1/6's.

Has anyone seen this with a couple chase pieces on the top layer? Or maybe an employee actually did mix without the manager knowing. I certainly don't want to confuse anyone if this isn't a real assortment.

I am thrilled all the same, Horror has always been my favorite series and these sculpts do not disappoint one bit. The Clockwork Orange Alex DeLarge with the eyeballs on his cuffs, Elvira's dagger belt buckle, Regan's vomit ,...the details on each are fabulous and perfectly capture the essence of each character depicted. My wife had no trouble at all recognizing each of them.

Sounds like you got a mixed case. The bottom layer should contain everything but the 1/6 ratio figures.

If that's the situation then my only go-to place for virgin cases has fell to the dark side. Dang it, I was hoping there were more assortments possible.

edit: I think I know what happened now. All the boxes had price tags on them so someone removed them and just mixed them up returning them. They usually don't price them all so I don't think it was intentionally mixed. Something to watch out for in the future.


BTW-In my zeal to get my hands on some I have an ebay win coming and will soon have and extra Regan and Mr. Twisty if anyone needs. I still need Beetlejuice guy and Shining Twins if someone wants to do an even swap. Cheers!

Great looking set. I'm a Universal Monsters collector. So I was excited to see Wolfman and The Mummy in the set. I hope to grab them soon!
