Steve from Gemini is pretty notorious for doing things his way and not really caring too much about all the noise from the funko community. That being said he generally has decent customer service and does a good job packing the pops. Honestly though I agree I just want this to be over with at this point.

I use Google Chrome and their "page monitor" add on. Works fantastic. Be sure to set the refresh to the lowest rate at times like this (I think it's 5 seconds). Also make sure and set the audible alarm in case you're in the other room, you can still hear it when it goes off.
