For those of you that don't know Diana's mother made her a statue because she couldn't have children so the gods bestowed the statue with life and thus Wonder Woman was born

Which origin story is this? I know the one where Wonder Woman is made out of sand/clay and is brought to life as a baby.

The BAM in Paramus, NJ had i was able to grab one and my girl grabbed one for her personal collection looked like they were trying to hold some for other ppl who had called in which was cool but i couldnt come thru for some of my pals

Besides that its an awesome Pop each has a different finish giving it a unique feel
I feel compelled to get the aquaman now just to have both in the collection

I have to say, I will be forced to get this one, but I will have to hide it in my closet. One of the ugliest pieces I've seen IMO. As someone who collects a bunch of WW, it saddens me that I'll have to buy this to satisfy my completionist desires

Wow, these are beautiful! I love the Patina finish and I'm definitely gonna end up ordering her and Aquaman. Hopefully they do more of these so I can have the entire league in statue form.

It would be great. I don't see them stopping with just these two (three, I guess, if we count the patina Batman) so it'll be fun watching where these turn up and what molds they use.

That kinda sucks - my mom is literally at that mall right now picking up something for my son's birthday at FYE, so I asked her to go upstairs to BAM. Hopefully she's able to snag one, even if she has to pull the "feel sorry for the old lady" routine.
