Fake Bloody Variant on eBay?

I got some bloody variant Walking Dead minis off eBay. The blood spray seems a lot different from my other bloody minis. I'm worried someone painted some regulars to increase the value. What do you think?

Those look a little TOO bloody to be real. I think the person who made them probably should have some some homework.

Sorry bro...fake. They don't normally put blood spatter on the eyes on the bloody variants. I'm not saying it doesn't happen accidentally...but it's the norm.

That, and yours look like they walked through a gore shower...especially Carl.

Interesting update. I had asked the seller for a return expressing my concern they were fake. While I was waiting for more replies here to increase my level of certainty, the seller got eBay involved claiming they were legitimate. Within a few hours eBay issued a 'courtesy refund' and said they would ask the seller to pay return shipping. Not sure if eBay is just writing this one off or if they reviewed pics from past auctions and came to the same conclusion you guys did.

Interesting. I wasn't going to outright say that the seller faked them, since it's entirely possible he himself was duped...but that kind of a response sounds like he may have been the one who made them. If he did he should have done a better job.

None of the bloody humans have blood on the white of their eyes (outside of possibly an accidental speck from the painting process). That makes sense because the white of the figure's eye is supposed to represent the white of a person's eye. If you got splattered with blood, you'd automatically shut your eyes to keep the spray out, thus...no blood on the white.

I've never seen a Carl that had a bloody right hand. The fact that the gore shower extends all the way down onto the hand holding the key? Fake. Plus the drops are much finer. The blood spatter on Carl is large defined drops like the one I posted earlier.
