I was thinking maybe the eary release pics took away some of the buzz. They might still do unboxings tomorrow?

Guess we will find out. They haven't even announced that these will be available online or anything either. With past mystery boxes, they were available the night before online....now, no word.

HT said they would be available online via a reply on Twitter. They didn't say what time or when though...

Anyone have a coupon code? It was nice to be able to save a lot of money when the first round of deadpool boxes went up.

I got word from a buddy of mine that works for HT that there will not coupons available for use with these besides the 5 dollar off coupons you have available through your hot topic points account. Hopefully that's not the case but it might be.

Hmmm, I have a 15 off 50 that I should be able to use with this, but we'll see. Essentially just gets me one free one so not the end of the world if I can't use it.

Called a couple of local HTs and since they're basically not allowed to say anything, I'm not sure if any of them will be selling them tomorrow. Weird. I don't remember all this secrecy last time.

Hot Topic literally posted on their instagram that they were going to be available tomorrow. I THINK since some Hot Topic (still unknown to me WHICH one it was) already sold some of these, now HQ got super strict and if they hear that anyone is saying anything about the boxes, they will be reprimanded. That's the only thing I can think of. But then again, every time these mystery boxes roll around, every single Hot Topic around here always says they have no clue and have never even heard it. Lies.

Please don't do this again. :( There is really NO reason for you to pay $20 each for the regular ones. Most people will buy 4-5 mystery boxes and EASILY have double or even triples of some. Be patient and you'll get them for super cheap. I'm actually not buying any this time around as the only one that is going to be semi-hard to get is the Chase. All the others I'll be able to get for like... $10-13. (Keep in mind this is without shipping ;).)

I doubt it...nobody is going to lose money on selling their POP that they just bought for $12.50. They might be in the $15 range plus shipping, to offset the ebay and/or paypal fees.

The only thing here is the fact that there has been no word on what the chase ratio is. For Harley Quinn they said 1:5, for Foolkiller they said 1:8...maybe this one is a 1:8 as well. WHO KNOWS...however, that whole ratio for both of the earlier chase pieces was ridiculously wrong. Some people walked away with multiples, some walked away with 0.

I definitely saw the post on Instagram, but since Canadian HTs are slower than the American ones re: getting exclusive POPs, I wanted to be sure that they would have them. But I agree with their approach, because some losers decided to be "cool" and get them ahead of time, thus kind of ruining the surprise for everyone. I like being spoiled, but others might not.

The ratio wasn't necessarily wrong, that's how ratios work. You flip a coin 50 times, it won't be 25 heads and 25 tails.

The ratio for the chase this time round should be 1 in 8 from what I was told. I bought ten last time and ended up with three terrors which was pretty good

Pfffft.... Unless people are like me and bought 6 last time, got 4 Foolkillers and 2 Solo's. No one wants to trade me for a Foolkiller because 90% of people got theirs from HT.... I'd easily sell the others for less then I paid. At this point, I'd pay people to take them from me. :P lol

Lol ouch. I bought 6 and ended up with 2 terrors! But I also got 4 Solos, so I'm trying to get a Foolkiller by trading one of my Solos away. ](*,) ](*,)

These mystery boxes are fun, and yet they can be frustrating.

The ratio wasn't necessarily wrong, that's how ratios work. You flip a coin 50 times, it won't be 25 heads and 25 tails.

I guess it comes down to HOW the employees put the cases on the shelf, etc.

On periscope they just stated that the chase in 1 in 24 wtf and they will be available online at 9:30 pst tonight. They also increased the limit to 15 per customer

Good Lord, this is giving me anxiety. 1:24 ratio for the chase....this is going to be a nightmare if I can't get it in store. The prices on ebay are going to be INSANE.

I’ve been trying not to get these because I don’t want a bunch of Deadpools on my shelf. I’d rather get the characters in their proper costumes (which will probably never happen.) But I mean, get PAID to take a Foolkiller and a Solo. I’ll take you up on that deal!

I agree though, everything but the chase will be easy to get after the hype dies down a bit. I’m still sitting them out though. I want these characters, but not like this. Good luck, everybody!

Well, it's pretty... lol

Amazing that with a 1:24 ratio she managed to unbox 4 chase pops. You have to imagine that you can feel the weight difference between the pops.

She did the same thing with the Harley and Foolkiller...said the ratio was 1:8 or whatever and pulled multiples. I am sure there will be a CLEAR difference in weight when you hold the boxes. The hat is really the only difference between all 3 POPs and that is nearly another head worth of weight.

I'll be happy just with one of each if I get a chase great but idc if I get one. If I got one reg and one chase I'd be happy to trade the chase for a terror since I never got that one

Completely avoiding this nightmare tomorrow. It's feeling like an induced frenzy when they do this, like trying to recreate Black Friday every few months now. I'm all for the chase of getting what you want, but this just sounds like too much trouble for disappointment.

If this is true, I'm really worried...how am I supposed to carry 15 up to the register!?!

They really need to provide baskets for Pop collectors.

I bought my own for when I go to HT. That committed.

Smart! Reusable grocery bag should do the trick! Saving the environment to boot!

I have an extra Terror that I will be willing to trade you if I don't get the chase. Just sayin'. :D
