ARE YOU KIDDING ME. How the hell are people getting them already!? That's not fair. The HT responsible should have the staff and the manager fired.
Side note: The chase looks creepy.

Disappointed that the chase isn't Masacre. What's the point of 2 Madcaps?
I'll be saving money since I don't need any of the 4 new ones though. Hopefully Masacre is released by himself in the future.

I just think it's funny people get made for subscription box leaks but.... nobody seems to mind when the HT mystery ones get leaked.

People are mad no matter what, they should feel lucky there's another Deadpool wave. I'll probably need to wait until this years Black Friday before another DC wave.

I may or may not get a few, because I really only want Madcap, and not because of anything to do with Deadpool. I knew him before Deadpool, so I had no idea he was connected to him, haha. That metallic is nice, but I'd be happy with the regular one as well.

Nope, I anticipate it'll be exactly like the other ones released. All same stickers just that one is rarer.

I don't understand why these got different sculpts but the other ride was just color swaps. Should have just kept it color swaps or made them all unique.

It won't. Harley Quinn and Terror did not have chase stickers. The ratios are skewed...they say 1:8 or whatever will be chase, but some people that bought 10 ended up with multiple chase pieces or zero chase pieces.

Because the first round they were LAZY. Everyone was in outrage that they were just repaints. Funko and Hot Topic probably collaborated and said OK, we will do new molds. But not much really changed. The head are still the same, except for Madcap. His BODY is the same, head is different. So they really aren't changing a whole lot.

I was able to avoid the past two iterations of this trend but now may need to try for that metallic one

Here's another pics of the new ones and chase figure:
Anyone else think that hat just makes the figure look enormous? It makes him look out of scale with the others (particularly in that pic Alex posted where they're all standing on the same surface). I mean I get that the head is about the same size, but geesh, that hat!
Spoiler: show

Which Hot Topic released these already? My local ones all say they "know nothing about them"...which is what they say about every single exclusive, mystery or not.

I think people said next Thursday.
I just called our Hot Topic and all the woman would say is "I have no idea what you are talking about." So I explained further. Same answer. That's all she could say.

I think last batch of HT mystery boxes came out like March? Feb? It might take more time to do even minor retools in molds and production. Guessing these may have been in the works before.

Well wouldn't it make more sense to NOT release something so early if you didn't have the necessary preparations? Again, it's just lazy.

I just think these were already planned, don't think they could design, go through license approval, retool, produce, and ship within a few months.
I don't understand who is lazy. If the first ones were so bad they would still be sitting on the shelves, but I saw lots of folks buying up the 10 piece limit.

You misunderstood what I said. I was saying why not push the release date on the original 3 if they weren't ready? Instead of doing basic repaints and getting them out quick, they could have done new molds and released at a later date....like with this new 3. Maybe I wasn't clear in my other post.

Just because they're wearing matching uniforms, doesn't make them the same character.

yeah, keep telling yourself that. it's totally that "Foolkiller" figure you've always wanted in your collection and not just a 999th repainted Deadpool
just putting a random name on the box doesn't change what it is, a horrible cash grab that sadly gave them a crap-ton of money so they are going to keep at it.

I know you're joking, but I'm actually a HUGE fan of obscure Marvel & DC characters. I've been a Foolkiller fan since the early 2000s when I found out the original is the only Marvel character I'm aware of from my hometown of Indianapolis. He's from a suburb 10 minutes from where I went to high school.
Plus his outfit is insanely cool. So yeah- they actually ARE giving me the Foolkiller figure I've always been wanting.

Haven't seen this mentioned here yet...but I'm sure you can tell which boxes are Madcap, opposed to the other ones. I say this because the weight of the box will definitely be heavier, due to that massive hat. So when you go to pick these up in the store, make sure you stand there like a loon and hold the boxes like you're tipping the scales of justice.

and i'm totally on board with that, you're talking to a man whos favorite comic character is Detective Chimp, but can you honestly tell me that as a fan of Foolkiller you're happy with just a repainted Deadpool? if they painted a Deadpool brown and put Detective Chimp on the box I sure as heck wouldn't be too excited.

Well, I can hardly stay mad at any Detective Chimp fan.

But I see your point now. And, yeah, I get that. I guess maybe I'm "settling" a tiny bit, but it's close enough to how he looked in the specific Mercs for Money story, short of the weapons, that I'm cool with it. Plus that story is great, so bonus points there. Would I prefer his original outfit? Of course! But if this is all we ever get, it's still a heck of a lot more than he's gotten from any other toy line I've collected and I appreciate it for what it is.
For some reason, though, as well as i can stomach this, I'm still really irked by "Spirit" Yoda holding a lightsaber. What can I say? I'm complicated-

for the record I think the Madcap looks pretty darn cool, and that kind of furthers my disappointment with all the others. haha, but yeah ghost Yoda with a light saber has always bugged me too
