I'm, thinking about pre-ordering a case from Toy Wars.

Edit: Pre-ordered from them and signed up for their e-mail list, saving an extra 10%. Can't beat it!

two words ...No Thanks ... I am huge HP fan and even collect some (very small amount) of minis. I have all the pops and was excited when they announced HP minis. I am not a fan of the cutsey design. I would have preferred more along the lines of the Sci-Fi or even marvel style. Not the same as the disney style. But guess I am the only one so far.

I personally would have preferred the same style that you do, but my wife (who's an even bigger fan than I am) loved them as soon as I showed them to her, so I guess in the end if she's happy I'm happy ;-)

How much did a case end up running from them Marty? I'm on the fence about ordering...I am such a big HP fan, but I'm not 100% in love with the style either. But I didn't like the Princess and Sidekick minis at first and they have grown on me since I've bought some so maybe these will do the same...

So one question, how many different ones are there? Will all of the pets be separate or will some of them come with their full size characters?
Will I get Hedwig in its own box or will Hedwig always be included together with Harry in a single box?

I assume this set will be a lot like the Princess & Sidekick set. All the "humans" will be the 1/12 ratios, and the "critters" will be the rarer pieces at 1/24, 1/36, and 1/72. In other words, a case will get you all of the people, but not all of the critters.

As much of a Potterhead that I am, I'm not really into the style. Would have loved a set based on Reis' drawings! Also if these are going to be as impossible to complete as the Princess set, I'm going to have to pass. Which sucks cause I usually want any and everything Harry Potter.

Yeah, the longer I think about it, the more I agree with this. I'd want the complete Harry Potter set if I was going to do it...and with the likely cost of rarer figures combined with not loving the style, I think I'm going to have to just pass.

I saw an image on IG (queenofgates) showing Crookshanks as a flocked mini.... My intrigue for this set has increased significantly!

The flocked Crookshanks is apparently going to be an HT exclusive variant. I hope it's no 1/72

I said before I do not liek the style these were done in. Wish it was more GOT/TWD instead of cutsy disney but I must say I might just pick up dobby.

I wonder if only one or two will come flocked or if most of the HT companions will be flocked? Also, I am intrigued but honestly a bit disappointed. There are so many other character sidekick combos that could be done. I was hoping it would be like the Princess set and the exclusives would be more unique pieces.

These are cool, but ugh. I'm going to have to trade or buy from Ebay the Hot Topic exclusives. I have several cases of 'regular' Harry Potter Mystery Minis preordered because I figured I'd increase my chance of getting a 1:36 or 1:72. But I can't afford to buy a lot from HT.

I really want to get a complete set of these, but I'm a bit disenchanted with the MMs lately. With the Princesses having exclusives at Hot Topic and Walgreens (which never got any in my area) it's almost impossible for me to complete that set without spending $50-75 per mini for some of them. I hope it's a little easier to get the HP minis. The only Funko lines I have completed are Harry Potter and Doctor Who. I would love to have all the HP minis. That flocked Crookshanks is adorable.

I wish that I'd never seen these! They are the first minis I've ever liked and something that I don't need to collect with space being such a commodity right now! I think I like them because they don't have the creepy faces like most other minis which I dislike so much.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan either, but those pets! I think I will also be collecting some of those. I mean, I don't have to admit they're Harry Potter :P hahaha.
