I was able to snag a SDCC Rapunzel for about £15-ish (can't remember the exact amount..) from Forbidden Planet a while back, after a fellow member brought it to my attention. Was quite a steal cause I think it was around $45/$50 on Ebay at that time, and that's without the insane shipping I would probably have to pay.

About a year ago, I was in an antique store looking around and was told that there were comics and toys upstairs. So I checked it out. Didn't see much but as I was walking out, on a shelf above the door sat a Count Chocula and Grumpy. Bought the pair for 23 bucks!

Picked up a blue boxed Bossk for $12 at ECCC this year. It was mixed in with all the current non-variants. It was right when the doors opened on day 1, so, I'm thinking the vendor just didn't set things up right or notice as they could have easily asked for $40-50.

I think this was pretty good. I'm a new collector. Got the whole set of Thundercats. Including tho the GITD Mumm-Ra which apparently was an exclusive and is worth a lot. For 185. The whole set. Includes shipping and insurance and protectors for all of them. I think it was a good deal. Guy said I teabagged him for sure hahahaha. What do u guys think? He Mumm-Ra alone was worth at least $200

I bought 8 Rocky Balboa's in one shot from PC for their normal retail price. Whole order probably came out around $100 US. That was when they were the only dealers left with advertised stock. Ended up giving them all out to friends as little gifts for Christmas. In hindsight, I should have just taken them all out for dinner and covered the tab instead of handing out Rocky's

When I first started collecting, I'd only buy pops when they went on sale at FYE and Barnes and Noble. From FYE I got, what is still my favorite set, the entire run dmc crew all for 1.99 each. That same day I also picked up reggae rasta, gremlin and ozzy for $1.99 too. Also my accidental best haul was when the Simpsons pops went on sale at Barnes and Noble. It was the final sale week, so everything was $2. They had 8-10 of each Simpsons characters, I bought them all with intentions of using them as Xmas gifts. Lucky for me I stored them in my basement and found them again when they went up in price. Finding these later really helped fill out my collection.

I'd say all my pops except maybe 3-4 are all steals, as I bought everything for retail when pops first came out and as they were released. Was only until recently I paid some market prices to fill some gaps in the collection.

SDCC Flocked Sulley and GITD Mike, and the ultimate F Box (Fugitive Toys) early last year. The box contained a Penguin, GITD White Lantern Flash, Lotso, Winnie the Pooh, Inverse Deadpool, Dr. Manhattan, B&W Loki, Sorcerer Mickey, and more. I also scored quite a few others along the way from fellow collectors and comic cons.
