I haven't looked at my PPG page in ages, but I just did. My collection value is in the five figures, which I wish I didn't know because that would buy some awesome motorcycle stuff lol Wow some of them have really jumped in value since I bought them, I bought all of the metallic GM set of three for almost half of what just one of them goes for now.
Howdy, I'm Tres :-)

No clue because I havent even begin to put in my collection. Way too many and not enough motivation. Plus i dont want to see 5 digits in value because that means I most likely paid all of that lol lol

Supersize regular 9 inch Daryl. I believe I bought him on Amazon for $35.99 exactly a year ago this month when I first started collecting.

No. of Items: 120
Total Est. Value: $2,006.00

I have mostly commons in my collection because I wasn't around back when all the Disney gems were still affordable, so I try to pick up some expensive Pops of characters I really care about every once in a while.

When does value of your collection according to someone's website become so important? How about just being happy about a cool fun hobby that you can share with likeminded people

You must not have any good pops :roflmao:

I'm with you, I like my pops (dorbz are better) but don't care of the value - too each their own what ever floats your boat :)

I do love every single Pop! in my collection and wouldn't let go off a single one. I just wish I was around back when some Pop!s with completely insane price tags still were affordable. I don't really care about the financial value of them, I have a connection to every Pop! I own. \:D/

I think this thread is just for fun. Personally I think it's interesting to see which Pops go up in price and which don't, it's just bizarre sometimes how unpredictable it is or how high some of them go, but I don't care how much my collection is worth. Save for a couple of them, I paid far more for them then they are worth now anyway, so if that were the case it would only sting to look at the current value lol I do use my top ten to justify how much I spend on Pops when my mom side-eyes me again whenever a new package arrives though. O:)

It isn't all about the money for me though. I live on a fixed income and work hard for the extra money I have to spend on pops and comics. My bills come first and then I spend the money I can spare on pops. I buy what I want and if I don't want it down the line I sell or trade if possible. I've given gifts as much as I have been given gifts. If I can find something for someone or get an extra by mistake I try to help out.

Yeah, can't say I'm much of a fan of these threads. If these posts were without the value/worth of each pop or collection it probably be more of everybody geeking over each other collection versus a flexing contest as Emcee puts it. I most definitely see your point, but it's not like people don't know that, let's say, Headless Ned is worth a lot of money. So leaving out the value wouldn't change much. I agree that it would be nice if everything didn't have to turn into some sort of competition though. But, sadly, I'm sure there's some of that going on even in the "Your display, the Funko way!" and the Pop Hop threads. Some people are really in it for the fun and some will see everything as an opportunity to show-off. It's often hard to tell the difference though, not knowing the poster's intent. But yeah, I suppose it's unavoidable in general. I chose to see this thread as being for fun, but it's easy to see it from the other side as well.

Anyway, sharing my collection's top 10 is akin to flexing a pinky lol. So I hope nobody took it as boasting.

See, I always look at my Top 10 as the 10 pieces of Funko I like the best, regardless of value or desirability.

1 - Vans Darth Vader
2 - Wobblebots!
3 - c*** Man Peek A Boo Pop up
4 - Mickey Hikari
5 - Gil Spastik (any version, but Purple is best)
6 - Hulkbuster
7 - Freddy Dude Proto
8 - Bowling Freddy Wobblers
9 - Bizarro pop and proto
10 - Fly Mystery Mini

List also subject to change as new stuff is released. I really like the Vision in a suit Dorbz.

Not if you pay for insurance that specifically covers your collection as a rider which is above and beyond your regular house insurance. I did this with my vinyl record collections, my toys and my bicycles. Otherwise the coverage I would get would be not anywhere near replacement value. I know a Hot Wheel collector wjhos collection was appraised at 2 million dollars I would call it a "super collection" LOL and he has full and proper coverage for it. A good compnay for those very needs http://collectinsure.com/

That's what I initially said. Scheduled items, rider same thing.

400 items

13 Dorbz
1 Fabrikation
2 Legacy Collection
5 Mopeez
42 Mystery Minis
329 Pop!

Estimated value: $6,224

Not bad for only collecting since 2014! The only part of value I'm really interested in is exactly how much I've spent accruing all of this in that time period. I would estimate that more than 1/2 of my collection has been picked up during sales (especially Hot Topic BOGO 50%, Hot Cash, or FYE sales) so it makes me feel a little better looking at that estimated value.
Current Pop count: 280
Current Dorbz Count: 16
Newest Pop: SSGSS Kamehameha Goku
Favorite Pop: SS2 Gohan
ISO: Not even sure anymore
