I need help with display options, please.
So with the new Civil War, Star Wars, Fallout 4, Harry Potter(which I didn't know I wanted until I saw Luna, Hermoine, Sirius and Dumbledore) waves, plus a few BvS and a few, totally, random POPs I fell in love with. I'm completely out of,display, space, on my entertainment center and DVD shelf. So I had to remove some and store them in my curio, that I had reserved for the one Chase I own. With the exception of my one Chase, I am an out of the box collector. Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice, and hopefully, inexpensive($125 or less) options for POP display shelf in a small living room or suggestions for display options I have yet to consider? I tried googling an answer but the search results, produced so many, unless and unrelated results, that I'm hoping collectors here, will share their expertise. One more thing, my hands are disabled so building my own really isn't an option for me.

I use baseball bat display cases from Michael's. They retail for $60, but because of regular sales and coupons, you shouldn't have a problem getting them for 40% - 60% off.

I bought the Algot set from Ikea and built my own custom one. Each shelf holds about 100 pops. I'll see if I can post some pictures.

This is my display for The Force Awakens and Avengers. $15 acrylic shelves from the container store. Smaller one was $10. Very easy to put up and no brackets needed. Hopefully this will give you some ideas

I like how simple these look. So forgive me and my stupidity, but you said a container store, what exactly is that? And by chance were there any acrylic shelves that were larger available? Living the collection by the way, nicely displayed! You should get some putty or something for Spidey's feet and hang him upside down!

Re: I need help with display options, please.
I use shelves from ikea that retail for $2-$3 and the brackets are 50 cents, so one shelf setup (shelf, 2 brackets) is about $4. I built my own risers out of foam board, so that created a lot of space. I haven't tried stacking boxes so im not sure how much space you will have. but I think you should be able to do at least 1 additional row if you stack boxes.
Here is what the setup looks like. All you really need is some wall space.

Thank you! That is a great idea
Its actually called the Container Store haha. Such an original name
It looks like there is indeed one more size bigger than my bigger two going for $20 and also double shelves for $28. Very simple and easy to set up, which is why I'm willing to spend the few extra bucks for them since they aren't the cheapest shelves on the market. But, very sleek and simple.

Re: I need help with display options, please.
This thread used to be an absolute goldmine of display ideas:
viewtopic.php?f=62&t=28313
Unfortunately when Funko decided to kill the gallery they wiped out most of the photos from that thread and others. There are still some good recent photos though.
Kimchi Pasta pioneered a display that many of us have adopted in some form or another. It's a combination of an Ikea Detolf display case (70 bucks), some strip LED lighting (about 20 bucks on Amazon) and some hand-built foam core display risers (about 20 bucks in material). The result is a well-lighted, compact display with a 15" x 17" footprint that can hold 100 Pops. Here's a pic of one shelf of that setup:

I have another thread here where I took that concept and went a little farther with the riser idea and made little scenes with custom lighting:

Its actually called the Container Store haha. Such an original name. But here is a link to their site and to the shelves I use. I believe there is a store locator as well, so you could see if you have one in your area. I actually buy some of my risers at my local store as well along with the shelves.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I like that it has no brackets and therefore, no real wall damage, so I think it's more than worth it in the long run. And I appreciate the link; I live in Springfield, Missouri so the chances of us having ANYTHING remotely helpful is nill.

I like the baseball bat case from Michaels, or use risers found at bed bath and beyond and amazon that are made for spices

I also have the baseball bat cases others have mentioned. Michael's has those 50% off coupons all the time, so that's when I bought two of them. I ran a strip of UV LEDs along the bottom edge and put GITD Pops in them.

Re: I need help with display options, please.
Dirt cheap and awesome.
I used 1 inch by 4inch pine board. 10 ft piece is like 8 bucks and is perfect for pops. Then you get L brackets which are technically called corner braces. Each pack of 2 is about 2 bucks. I used a pack for every 5 ft section. I also bought drywall anchors to secure it to the wall to help with the weight so another 5 bucks for a package.
What I did was use modge podge and took old comics to the shelves. You put the modge podge down like glue then attach the paper and the. Modge podge over it with a couple coats. I did about 135 feet worth. Then mitered the corners to fit.
I am working on a harry potter shelf with pages from the book coating the shelf. Dirt cheap and awesome. You can mount the brackets on the bottom to keep them hidden but I did the top to prevent forward sag.

Thanks. Decopage is coming back into style now. Modge podge still the best around. The bottle looks like it hasn't changed since the 70s

This is a really good idea. I'm assuming you mounted them upside down to hide the mounting brackets and screws? Or did you countersink the screws?

Your shelves look great; I've considered "podging" some for my Marvel Legends collection.
Sorry to go off topic, but I did a coffee table a while back that turned out pretty awesome, imo.

There is actually no brackets. There are 2 screw holes already on the back of the shelves. I just used 2 screws and anchors. Didn't even have to find any studs. As for them being upside down I wasn't sure what way they went so I went with how they displayed them in the store this way

So this is a little over the budget I listed but there is a auction house in my town that repos and resells antiques from closed antique stores. I really like idea of vinyl shelfs but Both my hands are severely disabled and it's difficult for me to mount shelves. What are your opinions on these counter displays from cigar store/general store? These are $155 and $130 but they are delivered so that is very helpful for me.

I love that first one! But both shelves are pretty cool. Their look is great, and they both look pretty deep, so you could probably fit a lot of pops in them. (Either in box or out.) I love displays that don't look like typical shelves and these are really great pieces in general.

First I love the idea of re-purposing old furniture for Pop display, way cool! Second, old store counter-top displays are typically not very big. It's hard to tell from those pics whether they are chest-sized pieces of furniture versus the smaller displays that they used in the old days would have sat on top of a bigger display case. You might ask for dimensions before buying, or go look at them in person if at all possible. If they are the smaller cases then they might not hold many Pops. If it were me I would take some Pops and try setting them in the cases to get an idea of how well they would fit.
