My hot topic didn't even put out the unmasked Iron Man exclusive and I got there right at opening. Come to find out he was holding them all for a reseller behind the counter. When I asked for one he said this person has bought all of them, he didn't even have them out of the packing box. The reseller eventually let me have one of the Iron Man's, but I would have appreciated an equal chance of getting one. I shouldn't have had to ask, they should have been on the shelves.

My hot topic usually will hold 1 pop. Not a box and on a big release day like today they voided that arrangement for customers. It was first come first serve. That's the kinda crap that' u should report to managers and corporate. He's probably getting something on the side for that arrangement

Yeah mine only had 1 and it was by the front register where they put a dozen or so of newer ones. And it was behind a stack of 3 Black Widows. I asked him what they got in from Civil War to see if he'd be honest and he somewhat hesitantly pulled out the Iron Man. Said it was the last one and a bunch of people had already bought the others. Which I found weird since I was there at 10:15 and the store was dead...

You need to report that to the District Manager of your Hot Topic region. They aren't allowed to do that.

Mine only got unmasked iron man, black widow, and iron patriot. Kind of bummed. Was hoping to grab the whole set and use a coupon for 40 off. I did pick up a couple of the new GOT pops along with them though so not a total loss.

The amount of people saying they were hoping to get all in one shot to use their coupon makes me think this staggered release as planned by HT lol

That's bogus. I agree - you should report that to their manager. Especially if holding for a reseller vs a fan?!? Grrrr. :mad:

I had a 30% off coupon and used it anyway. My order total was cheaper than doing the B1G1 30 off and they couldn't be combined.

I am still super annoyed. They made such a big deal about release day and only 3 or 4 are even available. I went to GS, MovieStop and BN. They had nothing. NOTHING. No Black Panther. No Crossbones. No Winter Soldier. NADA. If they are going to do official "street dates", then maybe they should make sure retailers actually have the products.

Yeah. Today they're following their convention policies and not allowing holds until tomorrow.

24 hour rule. It's not new, but I think they just sent out a memo with a big release like this to help enforce it all over.

I just tried to put a hold on WS at GS and was told it was rescheduled for release in May, even though people on Instagram have them already. :evil:
