Hey guys, still new here but I thought it's a great start to show my collection. :-) Recently added some new shelves to the wall to create more space for new Pop!s. Hope you like it! \:D/

I started collecting back last year with Dancing Groot and now have 55 Pop!s, with my personal holy grails being Invisible Bilbo, Ant-Man (MCC Exclusive) and Rocket w/ Potted Groot (SDCC Exclusive)

PS: Also a big AC Fan so nevermind the Collector stuff! :compress:

Hey your display looks awesome! One of the best I've seen just wondering where you got the risers?

Thank you! I actually made them. It was like 40 bucks in foam board, Cheaper and most customization than buying other stands. I got the idea from another board member here actually.

The foam people use to make tiered stands. What exactly is it? Is it the same styrofoam that can be found in Walmart?

Pretty much I believe, I buy mine from Michaels, bought the tri-fold one in black since it gives more foam board for your buck and there is always coupons for Michaels which I used to save money.

I bought these in black and cut them out

I believe this was the stuff I used for my display. Came out fairly sturdy, though the top shelf is a bit uneven as it turns out.

Same board but Michaels usually has a 50% coupon valid which makes the board at michaels (17.99) about 9 bucks. So just see what coupons you have for either store for a better bargin! I know it varies per location/store.

Just finished up some custom shelves in the corner of my bedroom. I built the shelves myself and my wife stained them for me. My POP collection is pretty small, but I just started a few months ago. Definitely have some room to grow.

My POP collection has grown too fast, and I will need to buy some new shelving.

With the lack of space, I had to turn my POPs sideways to fit more. I kept my exclusives facing forward and in the front row.

I also just spent 30 minutes tinkering with my layout (even in between layers)

Back row, of regular POPs:

Have you thought about building foam board risers for them? It would look great on the mini fridge and you would be able to see all of them really well.

I was wondering what did you use for lights in your detolfs? The wife and I were driving the 8 hours to the closest ikea in 2 weeks to pick up 3 because I am out of space on my mantle and my old DVD shelves.

No worries, I used to be on the floating IKEA shelves until it got out of hand and had to upgrade. I used these lights right here from IKEA ( http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20119418/ ) I have had no problem at all. Each leg from the light to the little power connector box has 8ft each to each light making it plenty of room. Make sure NOT to get the color ones. The color ones only have 3 ft of cord to each light which is NOT enough room to run it from the top shelf to the bottom.

Also, Im running 1 light package per Detolf shelf. You can do more of course but thats just my set up. And just run the wires in the front or back and small zip ties for wire control.

I also plan to take them out and drill a hole on the bottom of the case for the wire to exit since they are exiting the front right now and move the wires to the back metal beams instead of the front. If you have any further questions about it, you can PM me :D

Really late with this reply, but I use the white foam board that's 88 cents a sheet at Walmart. It's in the aisle with the posterboard and stuff. Seems to work just as well as the Elmer's brand (I tried that to begin with) and it's a lot cheaper if you have to make a lot of risers.
