So has anyone else had an issue with their Hot Topic not restocking since Christmas? I have about 5 around me that have not restocked at all since before the holiday season. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine has had a couple of restocks but nothing too special. This week they got a case of BvS, Deadpool and wave 1 of TFA

This is exactly what I mentioned earlier, it seems like they don't do any restock until Hot Cash dates are over.

I've been in many Hot Cash dealings over the years, this is the first time I've experienced them not restocking anything during the period. I have 2 theories, or a combination of the both.

-Funko has not been able to keep up the supply to match the demand
-POP! has just blown up over the last few months, especially around Christmas.

It's not just HT that isn't restocking. EB and GameStop I keep seeing the same things, along with a few local comic shops.

Stores around me seem to be restocking, or downstocking at least, but it seems to be the same old stuff. I have only seen Leia from Wave 2 FA at both the stores near me, I need Ackbar and can not find him anywhere! I have not seen any BvS yet either, and no pirate hat Deadpool :/ I might do my first online order.

Inventory for our two stores was weeks ago, right after the 1st. Plenty of time for restocks. Not much lately.

My store has received a few new items but never enough to cover demand. They received 6 boxes of doctor who but only one box of the new star wars and BvS pops

My nearest store is in a very underpopulated area, but they do fairly reasonable restocking. That being said, some POPs i never saw even once on the shelves..including the newest Freddy Krueger variant, the metallic Toothless, etc.

I believe so. I follow their IG page. They post new stuff. If I want it, I call in and put them on hold then get them later that day.

Dont be so certain that your store hasnt restocked. My store loves to leave their shipment in the back for weeks vs opening up and putting on floor. Many a times, I have checked the sku in the system at other nearby stores only to find out that my nearest store has a case showing up in inventory after they told me that there were none in stock. Some managers are great with pushing out new inventory and others not so much.

A lot of stores are running low running low. Gamestop, B&N, and Toys R US are too.

I've seen new stuff come in and sell out quickly (Batman v Superman, Steven Universe, Deadpool). You may want to check on a regular basis. I went in last Wednesday, asked them to call when the item arrived, and found out they sold through when I stopped by again on Friday. Some managers are cool about pulling stuff if they know you, but I have found that 1. Sometimes that particular manager isn't the one there when they receive their items, 2. They sometimes put stuff out first before they start going through the call list, 3. Turnover of the staff. #3 is the problem I have...I keep seeing new faces there who have no idea who the regulars are. I also noticed that they don't have as much inventory during hot cash. It may be a coincidence or it may be because they know pop collectors load up during hot cash time.

I haven't been going to mine consistently the past few weeks but when I was in there last, they didn't have very much. They had just stocked the skeleton Gerard Way and had about half their usual shelves full of pops. The employee I'm on pretty good terms with said they were low because there was a delay from Christmas and they would be getting more in.

My store gets only a few new ones at a time, it seems. So unless I'm right there within a few hours of a shipment I usually miss them.

Some of the new pops have come in but overall, no they have not restocked since Christmas. I put it down to inventory probably coming up, so I can just keep checking. As someone mentioned a lot of the HT have IG accounts and will post when they get new and popular things in, then just call them and ask for it to be held.

I was just at HT today and someone asked the assistant manager that same question while we were looking at the current Pop display. She said they've been getting inventory but not nearly as much as they did during the Christmas season. She suspects it's because it's Hot Cash time.

I also was told they've extended Hot Cash until Tuesday, they had just gotten an email about it an hour before I got there though they aren't sure how it will affect the $10 off $40 coupon that's suppose to start when Hot Cash ends.

I would assume they let u pick one promo or the other. Unless you get a cashier that chooses to accept both the hot cash and kickback coupon.

I have two HT I go to and they both seem to have been the same since Christmas.

The new thing they've been doing is putting a large section of pops too high to reach. Most of them are the same so I'm not worried about pops behind the ones I see but I would rather they have a smaller selection that rotates more frequently.

I did notice B&N put half their collection on the bargain rack, hopefully making room for new ones. Still looking for Shaun in stores. Will probably end up buying it online.
