Not sure what you consider expensive but he's on FP right now (see thread in Eye on the Web) for 25 pounds (around 38 USD). That's not too bad for a very popular exclusive that has not been widely available.
Oh and if you're on the fence about it, it is really an awesome Pop! It looks cool in light and has an awesome blue glow when the lights are out.

I can't seem to find it!

treswright wrote:Just out of curiosity I looked at the sold auctions (actually sold, not just "completed") on eBay and WOAH!!!! The price has really shot through the roof on these! Here are the most recent sold auctions (with shipping):
72.99, 95.00, 99.99, 100.52, 100.00, 89.00, 108.26, 100.00
That FP price today of 38 bucks was a flipper's dream!

It was only a limited release and not numbered. There are guesses that there were only 500 - 1000 made.

ah wow. how and who came up with that number?

most likely based of who was able to sell them. If he was only sold at the con. then you estimate how many they were able to sell for each day of the con
I actually never realized he was a 2014 nycc exclusive. I thought he was much older. Makes it even more impressive he cost so much so fast
FunkoNinja wrote:BeefyPenguin wrote:PaoMac wrote:FunkoNinja wrote:leosalion wrote:Was Planet Arlia Vegeta numbered limited edition?
They only sold 40 each day at Comic Con, so that is 160. Then they had 100 at the store in NY. They said that they had a little more for online sales than what they sold at the con and at the store. So that right there is about at least 520. Hence my 500-1000 estimate.

Unlikely, but then again I was surprised to see it listed on FP so far after the con so there's always hope! Regarding the price, based on previous TT exclusives it seems like they are a lot more "exclusive" (IE, produced in much more limited numbers) than the con exclusives sold by B&N, HT, etc. But that doesn't necessarily justify a high price, just spot checking SDCC TT exclusive sales on eBay it looks like Robot Devil is selling at 65-85, flocked wolfie is 50-70 and Catbug 30-40. So comparatively glowzilla is way above the trend (granted it's a 6" Pop, but still).
Funkofish wrote:Pop In A Box also sold some as well as a shop in Belgium (Kablamo) here in Europe... so there were a few others places that got it in.
JsinLegacy wrote:Supply and demand. Always what it comes down to. This one is harder to obtain then the others so as of right now the cost is higher. It's possible that in a few months from now the cost will decrease, but there is also still a possibility that it will continue to rise.
I have a feeling that this one may not have had a sticker stating a limited number but that in reality it really is. I don't think Toy Tokyo exclusives get around to much... Not like others do..
