New Walgreen's Exclusives- Iron Spider/Green Goblin(Update)

Never heard of taskmaster but he looks cool. And green goblin is a must. My parents home is right by a Walgreens. They had a lot of other exclusives in stock before (it's in an odd location near the end of the town) so hopefully when these are released I'll be home to pick some up. If so, I will be happy to pick up extras for those who need them!

I asked Stevn Ganne if these would share the same WIC Number as the original Marvel exclusives and he said yes. So are the original 4 being discontinued, or will there be 8 exclusives at once? I'm suscpecting the original four are done since I can't get any more in. It just worries me that stores like mine with 20 Punishers won't get the new wave in.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel uncomfortable going into Walgreens in pursuit of the exclusives? I always feel so awkward leaving empty handed that I end up buying something just so it doesn't look sketchy.

hahaha I feel this way in almost every store I visit..
Thankfully wal greens always has something i want (even though its extremely overpriced)

I have walked in and out of my local walgreens about 15 times the last month empty handed. They always look at me like im shoplifting lol

I think my Walgreens has accepted the fact that I only come in for POPs now, but I definitely felt weird until I made a friend there. My lady was on lunch break when I went to pick up a Riot Shield she found me, and the girl who checked me out said she practically snatched it out of her hands while she was stocking yelling "THAT'S FOR SHAE!" lol

I know her schedule now too so I try to only go while she's there to lessen the suspicion.

I've been collecting toys since the late 90s, so I don't even think about it anymore. You shouldn't let other people's perceptions dictate your behavior. Especially not in this case. We aren't doing anything wrong and if anyone asks, you can tell them what's up. Walgreens has been selling collectibles like McFarlane, Legos, Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black for a long time now, so it's probably a lot more common than you think.

Besides, most of the clerks probably think you just dropped off a prescription or something, not that you're stealing stuff.

I have no problem walking in and if there is no exclusive in a good box that I need. I walk out empty handed. Hey if they want my business stock up on you exclusives. Lol.

Not that I care what they think but....most, if not all, Walgreens have that long mirror at the top of the back wall where even the person up front can see just about everyone by glancing up. I always walk straight to the toy aisle, and straight back out if I've found nothing, so even if they do say something, I always just say "I was just looking at toys!".....at least that's the truth.

I live in Canada ..... by the sounds of it ... cross boarder shopping might not be worth it. I hear if there is any on stock the boxes tend to be less than perfect

Not always. I've had quite a bit of luck. All the Marvel exclusive es sitting on the shelf were fine.

Never feel bad leaving empty handed. You are a customer and if they don't have what you want its there problem. I've gone to Walgreen's maybe 30 times and only once have I got the pops I wanted.

As long as popcultcha gets all 4 I'll be happy. After a while I feel like I spend more on gas going from Walgreens to Walgreens looking and coming up empty.
