Chase Smaug higher ratio than other Chase POPs?

So I found my second ever Chase in the wild. it was a Chase Smaug at the Experience Music Project (EMP) in Seattle of all places (btw their Funko selection is pretty awesome). I ended up not buying it because I already had one and figured I'd leave it for someone else (I guess my equivalent of catching a fish and letting it go). But interesting thing to note, there was actually not one...but TWO Chases Smaugs that they had on display. Just kind of weird I've never seen that before (they were selling it for typical retail price).

I would say so. I went into my local comic book store and they were selling chase Smaug as a normal pop. They had 6 in. And if I remember correctly, forbidden planet actually put chase Smaug up for sale on their site. People were p*** as they didn't come with the chase sticker that it was advertised to come with.

I think I read some where that the chase was 1 to every case of 6... but I don't know if that is actually true or not as I can't really remember where I read it.

I however, have only ever seen 1 in person and I bought that thing.

When they were up for pre order it was listed as 50/50 chance for a Chase. Highest ratio I've ever seen.

You are lucky, the cheapest price I've found Chase Smaug is about $50 + shipping (and I'm from Europe, so more shipping costs ) I'll keep looking for it with some more hope now that I've read it's not too hard to find

I haven't seen a common version of Smaug anywhere, let alone the chase. I ended up spending around $40 with shipping. But he's an awesome piece, so worth it. I've only ever found two chases in the wild, and bought both.

I've only seen one chase Smaug and he was behind the counter for $60 at my local comic shop. Bet it's still sitting there

I think Smaug along with Zero and Spike are 1 in 6 ratios. They're definitely much more common than 1 in 36. I know the new chase ghostbusters dorbz are 1 in 6.

I was POP! hunting with 2 of my buds about a month ago and went into one of our local Comic Shops and they had a Chase Smaug with the sticker up for grabs for $50. I was not interested, but one of my friends grabbed it for his special 50th POP! I asked an employee working if they get Chase’s in stock regularly. He said that this was the 2nd Chase Smaug they got in stock, but they normally don’t get other Chases.

Wow, EMP is such a nice museum; was there like months ago... I didn't see any POP!s unless the Starwars' ones that were at the small shop outside of the Starwars Clothing Collection Exhibit.
